The airport itself is nice. And the regular employees are great and helpful. But the yellow shirt DAS 3rd party employees who are supposed to help passengers with mobility issues need to be replaced!!
We arrived and I saw several of these employees standing or sitting in several wheelchairs. I asked if we could borrow one and was told that I could sit in a corral area until one came available. We checked our bag and they were still sitting and standing around 3 or 4 chairs just chatting.
I'm not one to cause a seen, these days at least, haha, but that was terrible. I saw several other passengers who had worse mobility issues than me and they received the same treatment.
So if MIA sees any of these reviews, they should seriously consider replacing that 3rd party company and bring a better service for their...
