Milestone New Generation — Attraction in Arbutus

This is my first review of their work . I decided to take the time to review because reviews are helpful. I find myself looking up reviews when I am purchasing, products etc and reviews can be annoying because in most cases people dont take the time to right a good review, only bad reviews. I have worked with Rob and his employees on several occasions. I keep going back to his company for repeat business because I know what I am going to get. They are a pleasure to work with, he does quality work, quality of the work is consistent, and prices are extremely competitive. He is honest and their turnaround time is usually pretty good. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

p.s. The photos I have included are Calacatta Vagli Quartz countertops. I am so happy with my countertops. They do not stain (can spill red wine on them and leave it for days) and they look beautiful in person. It exceeded my expectations.

Extremely unhappy with my experience at Milestone. I went to one of their suppliers to pick out my granite. The lady there told us the slab we picked out would be set aside to be picked up by Milestone.

Once the slab was delivered I realized it clearly was not the exact one we picked. Instead of taking the piece I picked, which I picked for a particular reason (colors, patterns, etc), they just took the next available slab. Be careful about the granite you choose. No telling what slab you will have installed.

Milestone also did not take any responsibility for this, not even offering financial compensation of any amount for being unhappy with the outcome. It is a lot of money to spend to not receive exactly what you selected.

We used Milestone to replace our kitchen counters and we have been so incredibly happy with the whole experience! Everyone we worked with, from the office staff to the installation team, was courteous, communicative, and professional. The team worked with us to make sure that their work fit with our budget and timeline and to make sure that the work was done well. We have a house built in the 1920s, which means weird angles and no level walls and the installation team made sure that the quartz fit our exact space with all of its quirks and irregularities.
