This was not what I came to expect from chick fila. Maybe it was just me but I tried to get the free sandwich when u get the app and the people there were not very helpful. At a different chick fila the people were very helpful when my sister had trouble with the same thing. I guess at the other chick fila they raised my standards for what to expect from this organization. At the counter I was not asked if I was eating in or out. So I did not get a tray with my food. This became troublesome when I went to throw my trash out and it was hard for me to carry everything as I did order a good amount of food. Also as people approched the waste bin to throw their trash out, several times I observed one of the floor attendants offering to throw their trash out for them. When I approached the trash bin no attempt was made to assist me. Hopefully this was because I did not have a tray and she didn't want to go through the trouble of transferring the loose trash from my hands to hers. I can understand why she did not offer but it left me feeling under served which could have been avoided if the guy who took my order asked me if i was eating in or out. I was also not asked if I wanted any sauce I had to go back up to the counter to ask for sauce and over heard the same guy who took my order asking people if they wanted sauce. Again this made me feel under served. When I was not able to get the free sandwhich the guy taking my order his body language made me feel looked down upon me because I was trying to get something for free. I felt as if I was not being treated the same as other people. I may be in my feelings but I had such a good customer service experience at anothet chick fila and I specifically went back to chick fila to experience that high level of service again and I left feeling under served, judged, discriminated against and diaappointed. Whether my feelings are justified or not this is how I felt leaving that establishment. I guess all chick filas don't have the same quality of customer service. I visited the establishment to order lunch for my son #1 with large fries and fruit punch. I ordered the #1 chicken sandwich only and chocolate shake without the cherry and whip cream. I specified at the onset of the order I wanted my sandwiches fresh and hot and didnāt mind waiting for it. John approached me with the order and I said. āI ordered it fresh.ā John said, ā itās only been about 3-4 minutes but theyāre fresh.ā I told him, ā I donāt want that, I want my order fresh and hot.ā John took the sandwiches in the back as if to change them and returned in 1 one minute. I said, ā these are hot?ā John assured me they were. I retrieved the bag and departed. My son had just pulled up so I gave him his order and the look on his face was an indication the food wasnāt hot as John suggested. However, he didnāt have time to reorder. At any rate, i went back in to share my experience with the manager on duty who attempted to make things right by offering me two new sandwiches. I refused bc the damage was done. We canāt eat two new sandwiches. Moreover, with all the niceties of, āthank you and my pleasureā, I would think full customer satisfaction is the goal. But in this case it wasnāt. John is a liability to chick filet and I wonāt return ever to this establishment knowing full customer satisfaction is not the goal. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Chick-fil-A in Laurel soda system was messed up it was dispensing carbon water, of course I did not realize this until I was driving away so I drove to the Washington Boulevard, ( I had to pass that way to drop someone off) I explain it (even showed my receipt) to get a replacement the manager that was on duty (older white lady with a ponytail) was extremely unprofessional, unpolished and rude she advised me that they were not one company and it was up to the managers to make a decision if I could have my drink replaced and she would not do that. Where I understand that rules are rules it was her unprofessionalism that really bothered me. I use this location often as I am a Director with BCPS, on January 21st 2025 I have removed that Chick-fil-A from all of our vendor lists. This occurred the evening of January 20th around 7:15 In my opinion it would have been more customer service like, Chick-fil-A like, to just replace the drink.
