I have been visiting churches all over Baltimore and was blessed and impressed with Morning Star Baptist Church. Every greeter, usher, and leader greeted you genuinely and warmly. There was a sweet family atmosphere. People were helpful and seemed authentic. The music and dance ministries were great, but the emphasis was on God and the Word. The preacher and pastor Bishop Debnam share a word that was bible-based, inspirational and prophetic. This church is God-focused and intentional about every aspect of ministry. I am new to the area and have been looking for a church home and Morning Star was my #1 choice, as I attended virtually. I wanted more information and to speak with someone about Wednesday Bible study. I called and left a message on Wednesday to have someone give me a call and it is now Sunday and no response. I am now perplexed as to why a church this size doesn’t have a full-time secretary that returns calls.
