Well, aren’t we adventurous? Decided to dine at this establishment without consulting the reviews—bravo to me! The culinary experience was so abysmal that it redefined my understanding of bad food. Having traversed the gastronomic landscape of this nation, I can confidently declare this as the nadir of my culinary journey. The staff? A masterclass in rudeness and incompetence. The ambiance featured sticky tables and floors, adding to the overall charm. Post-experience, I perused the comments and discovered a plethora of negative feedback, particularly about the biryani and other dishes. Yet, the owner persists in the delusion that the customers are at fault. Seriously, dude? This is what transpires when individuals lacking basic business acumen attempt to run a restaurant. Instead of responding to patrons like a petulant child, perhaps focus on addressing the myriad issues plaguing your establishment.
Unfortunately I can’t respond back on your tread so I’ll do it here: This is a respond back to the owner:
Oh, darling , your threats are as empty as your tables during peak hours. It’s adorable that you think harassment is spelled with two E’s and R’s—perhaps a remedial English course would serve you better than idle threats. And as for competition, don’t flatter yourself; your food would need to be edible before it could ever be considered competition. And cherry on top your delusional bubble FREEDOM OF SPEECH...
Read moreThe ambiance and service were exceptional, deserving of 5 stars. However, three out of four dishes were disappointing. While the vegetarian options were enjoyable, the meat dishes, like the kabobs, were dry and challenging to eat. The seasoning lacked uniqueness, and the spiciness was overwhelming, with a lack of quality flavor. I would advise against trying the steak burger, as it resembles an oversized and overpriced chaapli patty. Additionally, the chaapli kabobs were disappointingly thin. The chicken kabab platter consisted mainly of oversized rice portions with only two dry kabobs. And the salad was a joke along with the dressing.
Recommendation is to rename the steak burger to chaapli burger and be honest with the menu items. Make dishes more reasonably sized portions and the price should reflect. Have a better chef for the meat dishes and offer better flavors with higher quality. And the name BBQ Tonight is misleading since nothing of your menu resembles an actual BBQ. It's all low quality Pakistani street vendor food, whereas in Pakistan, the street vendors offer much higher flavor and quality.
*Edit- Response - You should consider being more professional since you're representing the restaurant and should also welcome ideas to make the food better instead of bashing American food since you do live in America. I again recommend to be less Paki, and more...
Read moreWe found this place through google and are we glad that we did. The food quality and taste is just awesome. The portions are quite enough for one person. The owner is very customer focused and also the cook as well. I ordered beef chapli kabab, thinking that I will probably need to order some more because it may not be enough for me, well, I was wrong. Before ordering, I asked the owner if two kababs will be enough for me, and his response was "honestly, I cant finish them myself", and he was right. The kabab "patty" was pretty decent size and it would have been enough for me, but since I didnt take his word for it, I over ordered.
Of course if you have eaten at restaurants in Pakistan you will not find the taste as authentic to the real deal, but you are not in Pakistan. In this area, I think his kababs taste the best, unless you want to drive over to Springfield VA area, then there will be some competition to BBQ Tonite. But in the immediate area, I will certainly recommend this place for the food.
We just found this place this spring, and we have already been there twice, third time visit will soon be due. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
