Does not guarantee FDA reasonable accommodations for confirmed documented medical disabilities.
In response to owner below, Yes: We requested the accommodation within the text box on the ticket purchase site. There is no mention on the website for need of externally written documentation, as we would have been readily happy to supply. We spoke directly with a representative at the tour center and expressed our concern and requests, informing her that the children receive these accommodations at school for this condition. We were not asked to provide any documentation. We were simply informed that "accommodations cannot be guaranteed". We spoke directly with owner. He never asked for any documentation and instead informed us that he would "not guarantee accommodations" and stated that we should simply not attend the tour. Full accommodations were not received. One of the children had negative outcome from the trip.
My suggestion to the owner, is to either accept people's medical disabilities and requested accommodations as stated in the accommodation box or have a standard attachment required along with specified documentation necessary to fulfill that request on your website.
Also be courteous, and ask the customer to explain their needs and try to find something that might work, rather than jumping to, "No, accommodations are not guaranteed".
Our Driver was exceptional in his driving skills, tour information and people skills. He asked about our needs and tried to address them within his control reasonably. He even drove to try to accommodate some...
Read moreOur tour guide, Miller, was EXCELLENT!!!! I would take this tour again, except that the time at the top was so short. There has to be a better option. Find a geek who can set up an algorithm to allow passengers to chose their return time. I WOULD'VE PAID EXTRA $$$ for more time at the top. The ride up was FUN!!! Would give a full 5 stars just for the excellent service at the counter inside-so friendly & accommodating, and our amazing tour guide, a natural teacher of geology, botany, history, geography, photography, and so much more! SKIP THE DONUTS!!! Getting through the line was miserable. Paid for 2 coffees and there was barely enough coffee in the pot for one cup. After 5 minutes, I went to the back kitchen where staff was chitchatting and asked for more coffee. Waited a few minutes and left. Will write a separate review of the gift shop/restaurant. Decided to pass on the coffee and get outside to see the top of the mountain for our remaining five minutes. No time to take a picture! The bathroom wait at the depot was frustrating for our party of five, and the rest of the people getting ready to depart. Were it not for the excellent guide and the lovely man at the counter, I would give Grayline 1 star on this for hurrying their passengers through...
Read moreFrom the moment I spoke on the phone to Rennie, to try and set up our trip to Pikes Peak...everything, and I mean everything and everyone was friendly, helpful, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. We were a party of 9 out to Denver to celebrate our Granddaughter graduating from U of Denver, and picked this to add to our celebration. Could not have had a better experience, these people know what they are doing and do it with pride. Our Driver Gary, was a wealth of information and made us feel very safe and secure at all times. Gary, as the others was very friendly, professional and gave us a great tour. I, was so very happy with Rennie, I introduced him to each of our party, and they found him to be as great as I had told each one, because, of the experience I had on the phone with him. Rennie, is in exactly the kind of job that suits him, he is a PEOPLE PERSON, and it shows. Thank you for our wonderful time and for having such a great staff. You would get the very HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION from our party of 9. Thank you again . Janet...
