Starbucks — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

• I meant to submit this review the night I came in, but I forgot! So this is a couple weeks old now, apologies! * Due to new hours and an app glitch, I ended up arriving after they had closed to get my order. I was confused as to why no one came to the speaker (this was before I knew they were closed, obviously), so I drove around to the window and waited for someone to walk by. Finally someone saw me and opened the window. He apologized and said they had new hours and were closed, and that they only had one of my drinks. The other had been tossed, which is perfectly normal since they were closed, and had been for about 20 minutes. The app usually doesn’t let you order to pickup within 30 minutes of the store closing, but the app hadn’t updated their new hours. So it processed the order and I had already paid. He could’ve easily given me 2 drink coupons and sent me on my way, especially since they had already cleaned the machines and were probably ready to go home. He didn’t even offer that, I think he could sense how bad I REALLY wanted my coffee - I’m from Seattle, it’s necessary for my survival! Instead, he went to ask the manager if it was ok to remake my drinks. He was never irritated with me, never made me feel like I was imposing on his personal time (which I was at this point!), he just remade the drinks - perfectly, I might add - and wished me a good rest of my night. I was so grateful, not just for the coffee, but for his great attitude! I wish I had gotten his name, hopefully he or the manager will remember the girl who showed up late to get her coffee fix, I’d love for both of them to know how much I appreciated them. Additionally, the girl who usually works nights is consistently awesome and friendly - of course I don’t know her name either, but hello from the girl who places app orders and is too lazy to go inside to...

UPDATE: The manager Lyon was very helpful and truly seemed to care and reached out and sat down with my husband and I ans explained the steps taken to retrain and educate staff. They also took the time to listen to our concerns on why it happened in the first place. Star rating has changed to reflect this and as we get more comfortable in the atmosphere again it may change.If I could give 0 or negative stars I would! I have been a regular at this location since they opened. I have recently suffered from some health issues resulting in a stutter. I went in today to get coffee and went through the drive through, as I replied good morning with the stutter the barista copied with the same type of talking as to mock me and started laughing. I was mortified, if there hadn't been a car behind me I would have backed out and left. This is unacceptable. When did it become ok at acceptable to make fun of disabilities??? Corprate and management has been contacted and the manager apparently heard this happen. This is unacceptable. I hope noone else is ever...

I was so happy with the service of this Starbucks. My mom and I were tourists, and our hotel was a few blocks from here. We ordered a chocolate croissant, egg bites, and 2 coffees (both cold drinks) when we got to the window my mom realized she had left her wallet in the hotel room. She asked the employee hold the order while we ran to the hotel. We were back in 5-10 minutes and I went inside this time. Originally, I remember the order adding up to $16. I told the cashier what had happened and she put in the order and I saw it add up to $16, then $8 was deducted as a "discount." They didn't explain, and I was confused, but I paid and they gave me the drinks and the croissant. They told me they were remaking the egg bites so they we hot. So I sat at a table and waited. Soon after, they brought the egg bites and another croissant, which was very warm. She told me they just remade both so I thanked her and went to the car. The food was delicious and I got an extra...
