Decided to book our stay here based on reviews. We were greeted promptly when we arrived and service was good. We were provided room 319 and this review is based on our stay so far - as we do not believe the reviews are accurate. The interior of hotel gives off 90s flashback vibes. The elevator is extremely small, and musty smelling. The hallways to the rooms give Motel 6 feeling. Upon arriving into the room, you see old, worn out carpet; popcorn ceilings; mustard yellow walls; old lightswitches; dirty door handles. The room has not been updated probably since late 1990's. See photos of old tiny tub/shower combo with dirty grout, moldy appearing areas of bathtub, old dirty tile floors, and a toilet left with the previous guests feces at bottom of toilet which was not cleaned. The dresser drawers do not stay closed, the remain about 2-3" open for some reason. There is a small flat screen TV that sits on dresser, not even mounted to wall. The room has a small microwave and mini fridge as well. The window blinds are old, stinky, and just overall yucky. The carpets inside the room are filthy and crumbs left from previous guests. The headboard of the bed has not been cleaned and visibily dirty. We will not stay here again, the reviews must not be from real guests below here. For a Marriott property this is extremely disappointing. At $109+ per night, we recommend stay elsewhere for that price. These rooms should be no more than $50 a night.

Stayed 4 nights at this location. Customer Service and the Internet were some of the best I have seen in my travels for this hotel chain. Shoutout to Sara, who welcomed me with a smile and the great Platinum members gift plus points! Also, Liz who arranged for my early morning cab to the airport. The Internet speeds did not slow down when the hotel filled up over the weekend as with other places. Those are the positives, there are a few negatives however, very minor or major depending on what you prefer. The exercise room is a closet with cardio machines, I used the elliptical and it functioned well. Although an older hotel, it is upkeep well however, very outdated. The chairs and the work-desk needs updating. Most other things, had a fresh coat of paint and in appearance seem pleasant. The location is well enough with a theater, buffalo wings, Olympic arena and other establishments close by. I would stay here again and recommend, even as a pet friendly hotel. Video on the YouTube channel as expected for those who follow. If this review helps give a thumbs up.

Hotel is dated and in need of upgrades. The executive suite is not a suite. A suite must have a separate walled off bedroom. This is more what should be called luxury studio. The pool heater was broke and pool too cool. The mini frig, though a good size, had ice build up and was stuck on and froze drinks. The bed was plush instead of pillow top you might expect in a executive suite, but was comfortable. The best part of the room was air conditioning that did not have thermostat limit which made room environment really comfortable. The bathroom was small but worked well with great hot water. Their are lots restaurants and stores nearby. The best part is only 11 minute walk to Broadmoor World Arena. Not as close as Hampton Inn but is much more available. The breakfast was good with most things I like. Overall good stay but does need some $s allocated to fixes.

Stayed for five weeks. During that time I set up for house keeping to come on certain days during the first week. The entire second week I went without housekeeping because they forgot. There was one other time during the fourth week which they forget to clean as well. After both times I would verify with front desk that they did in fact have me down for cleaning. When they did clean they should take note of what is currently in the room and what to add/not add. I only used one towel in three days and they would try to add 2-3 extra when I already had two extra for three days so I would end up with five extra towels. They would also add two of every amenity (ie soap, shampoo, conditioner). It was overkill as you only have so much room for your own stuff. I am also still waiting to receive my points for taking part in your program for skipping housekeeping all of the other days. That is over 7,000 points still owed!

I did have a T.V. volume issue where I had to turn on/off several times for the volume to work which was resolved by the staff.

The breakfast is good overall, however there was only bacon served every 3-4 days and the turkey sausage was really dry. Should have bacon more frequently and make sure it's cooked since it's only microwaved. The coffee should have flavored creamers. I have been at many different Marriott's and I know this is possible to have. Having bland creamer is sub par! The two ladies who work in the morning during breakfast hours are very polite and try to be on top of everything! This is awesome!

My key cards lasted until the next to last day. Not a big inconvenience, however I still had to make a stop by the front desk for renewal. Very quick at check out...

We traveled to Colorado Springs to visit family. My wife and I have made a habit of putting out the do not disturb sign each nigh of a hotel stay because we have been awoken by service staff and walked in on while dressing; so we make it a habit. As soon as we leave we remove the sign so the staff knows it is ok to service the room on the next pass. We followed our routine at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, but we returned to an untouched room; a first. The following morning, after our second night, I approached the desk clerk and explained what happened. “The maids don’t speak or read any English,” I was told. When they see the sign on the door, they take it as indication to bypass the room altogether. He asked if I wanted the room serviced that day, to which I said yes. We returned to a made bed, but nothing else done. Garbage not emptied, soaps not refilled, coffee not refilled, paper cups and supplies not restocked. I would be surprised if the bed linens were even changed. Frustrating. Not to nitpick, but while I’m on a roll, the AC didn’t control temperature (either it was full on freezing or of, hot and stuffy), our key cards kept losing their memory causing us to have to return to the desk, and the mattress protector wouldn’t stay on tucked in causing me to wake up sleeping on the bare...
