We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Colorado Springs. The location is convenient and close enough to major attractions, restaurants, the Interstate and more. From the outside, it leaves a little to be desired. Itās on the edge of a neighborhood that may have seen its better days and is located behind a Carlās Jr. All that aside, we felt safe and comfortable in the Hotel. The price for a 2-queen room was affordable for the Colorado Springs area. Service was very friendly throughout our stay. The hotel offers free parking, free Wifi (good strong signal), a large, indoor pool with a hot tub and an exercise room as well as daily breakfast and a large room to dine in. The rooms are large enough and comfortable. I was in a double Queen bedroom with room to spread out. There was a desk, a mini fridge and a microwave. My window was facing north and offered a nice view of the mountains. The beds unfortunately were not my favorite part. They felt a bit worn out. Sitting on the edge of one of the beds, I sank down more than I would have expected. I tried the other bed and it was a little better. I was able to sleep on the bed, but compared to my firm bed at home, it left a bit to be desired. The A/C works fine. It will be most effective if you close the bathroom door so you donāt lose the cold air. ||Overall, our stay here was very comfortable. The Breakfasts served were tasty and free. There were cook your own waffles, cereal, fruit, pastry. Another day the primary offering was Biscuits & Gravy. The next day it was Cheese Omelets. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the large, indoor pool area and the patio just outside the pool offers a nice sunset view. We will stay here on our next visit to the Colorado...

There were ample complimentary parking spaces in the perimeter of the building.
We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by the front desk.
We received our room keys and were informed that breakfast concludes at 09:00 AM the next day.
The reception area, although compact, was well-kept and provided enough seating. The breakfast area, swimming pool, hot tub, and fitness center are all conveniently located on the ground floor.
Only one elevator was available; however, wait times were acceptable. The elevator, however, had a noticeable odor of marijuana.
Our room was of an appropriate size and well-maintained.
Our accommodations included a king-sized bed, various lamps with power outlets, a flat-screen television offering a wide range of channels, a full-length mirror, a closet, a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, a mini-fridge, an ice bucket, a desk with an office chair, and a sofa bed. The bed was satisfactory.
The bathroom was equipped with three sets of towels (body, face, and hand), a hairdryer, wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. The wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and lotion was hand-squeeze making it difficult to dispense. The shower's water pressure was impressive.
We were not able to visit the indoor pool and was told that the hot tub was closed for maintenance.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of hot and cold food and beverage options (see photos). Scrambled eggs, sausage, and gravy were among the items served Saturday.
Have a great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was nervous about booking after reading reviews from some of the other hotels in the area but we were not disappointed. We had two adults and four teenagers on this quick trip. The gal who checked us in was very nice and courteous. She have us helpful information while checking us in regarding food options and pamphlets. The only complaint I have is that numerous people (including ourselves) had issues with their room keys not being correctly activated. There may be an issue with their machine as well, but I'm not going to dock them for that! We decided to go check out the indoor pool and we were pleased to find the hot tub. After a long day of traveling, we welcomed that with open arms! The pool seemed to be temperature controlled ( I didn't get in) but our kids really enjoyed it. There is a nice lounge area through a set of sliding doors from the pool area with a pretty view. They also offer the use of a propane grill if you decide you'd like to cook yourself! Along with the seating area, it would be perfect for a small group.
We booked a king size room connected to a double queen and they were good sized with very comfy beds. Rooms were clean and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the bathroom. They do offer a more "buffet" style breakfast. You have the normal options ( muffins, fruit, yogurt) but they also had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and if course the wonderful Belgian waffle makers. Overall, we'd absolutely...
