I have shopped at Randall’s Wines & Spirits over the years at both locations and always received great customer service and great prices! Unfortunately it only takes one time to change my opinion! Over the holidays I purchased a gourmet whipped cream for $12.99 - a splurge of course - but for holiday drinks! I was excited to try with family members in holiday coffee!! Tried to use it - nothing came out! Followed directions - no whipped cream! Disappointed of course - no big deal - I’d just return it!
I was wrong it became a very big deal - I didn’t have my receipt, Randall’s didn’t have any left in the store. It was obvious the can was full - the cashier refused to return it or give me credit to purchase something else! I asked for the manager - waited - the cashier completely ignored me. I simply asked for credit in the amount of a defective product! No manager, no response, simply rude and disrespectful. Whatever happened to the great customer service?? To be completely ignored - I finally left! It is return customers and word of mouth that makes a business successful. I’m sure this has happened to someone else - guess they can afford to lose customers - with inflation - making the choice to drive the extra mile is worth it - but not any more. That’s why so many people in North County drive to other areas to shop because of the lack of great customer service....
Read moreI go to this location as I live about 15 minutes away and the store is not out of my way. I must first of state the selection for the most part is great. Lots of beer and the prices are decent. The gentlemen there running the register is great and is very helpful however the beer manager is by far the most unorganized and useless person I have met. I asked the gentlemen at the register if they had a 4 pack of beer and the system showed they should. The beer manager was then pointed out so I asked him and he said he was going to make a call and check in the back. He didnt come out for 25 min and when he did, he didnt acknowledge I was waiting for him. This is by far the worst customer service I have received at any craft beer store in St. Louis. I will be going to other stores regardless of how far out of my way they are to get decent service. This beer manager is a joke and the reason why I wont be back. If he is replaced with someone that actually cares about service I will come back but until this beer manager (haha yeah right) is replaced I will...
Read moreFirst time ordering and going into this store. I placed an order today, per email states don't come until a second email is received for pick up ready. It took a full hour before I left home to go to the store 20min away. Now during the drive I didn't receive a second email for pickup. When I arrived there was a black lady on the computer another came from the back of the store and the cashier took my info and asked the two black women about my online order. The response from the short black woman with blond hair was " See you're not supposed to come until you get the second email, cause we don't have one of the items" mind you it has been over an hour since I placed the order. Funds were taken and no response afterwards. The long delay in response made me go up to the store. Also, no one had looked at my order until I got there. While the cashier got the 2 items that were there, one of the women then went online to send me the item not available message and pick up is ready. Not impressed...
