My husband and I went to the Regal in Short Pump Saturday evening to see the 4:25 showing of Snow White. Upon walking up to the building, I realize that the ticket counter is now closed. Their directions say to get in line at the concession stand to buy your tickets. OK, no big deal. So we get in line and realize that the line is extremely long and there’s only one person working and when I say extremely long, I mean 35 to 40 people ahead of us. They had one young girl working by herself. I then noticed the kiosk to my left where you could also purchase tickets. So we went over there and got our tickets, still no big deal we were determined to enjoy the show. We didn’t even bother standing in line for popcorn or refreshments given the fact of the line being so long and they’re only being one worker. So we decide to be cutie and take photos in the Photo Booth. We Get inside and realize it doesn’t work. OK, no big deal. There’s arcade games and other things to be entertained with while we wait for a movie starting time we had about 30 minutes to kill. We then realize none of the other arcade games or anything is operational besides maybe the claw games. Everything else was turned off. So we decided to just go ahead and see if we could just sit in the theater and wait. The man taking our ticket was friendly. We walked to the theater and took our seat seats. We immediately realize the theater was a disaster. There was stuff all over the floor and no one had cleaned it. A young man came in with a broom to clean it, and a young lady called him over the walkie-talkie joking and playing and told him to get out of there and don’t worry about it and that’s exactly what he did. OK, whatever I can sit with popcorn on the floor. So a couple other people started filing in some with children some not. We watched the movie, no issues there and then we go to leave. My husband and my Cell wanted to use the restroom before we left. I went into the restroom to find it utterly unacceptable and disgusting. One of the bathroom was filled with vomit. One was filled with a bloody tampon in the toilet and stuff everywhere. It was worse than a gas station bathroom. My husband said the men’s bathroom was definitely no better. It was absolutely horrendous. As I was waiting for him to exit the bathroom, I noticed that the lobby was a complete wreck, popcorn all over the floor, napkins all over the floor just trash and things everywhere. The place looked disgusting. There was just as many people in line at the concession stand after my movie as there was when I got there and there still was only the one poor girl working in the counter. If you’re gonna charge someone $31 for two people to go see a movie you definitely should have a better place for them to enjoy the show. My husband and I were thinking about buying regal passes, but after our experience last Saturday, we definitely have changed our mind. Regal you have gone down step it up or I guarantee you you’ll be the next one to file bankruptcy because the people are tired of paying over inflated prices and not getting anything For their money besides nasty disgusting floors no employees to help or Do any kind...
Read moreThis theater used to be good .. but now that it is aging it has definitely gone downhill.. even the employees are sick of it. I usually go a few times a month but have started going to west Chester instead. First, the popcorn here is ALWAYS stale. How I have no idea when they are popping so much in a day but it never fails. Secondly, the restrooms are NASTY! Was there tonight and used them before a 3 hour movie... the restroom was trashed. Toilet paper and water all over the floor. Pee and you know what on the seats... just nasty. Not to mention they are always out of soap. Went back to the restroom after the movie... you would think an employee would have checked on the restroom within that lapse of time but nope.... still just as nasty... doesn’t make you want to eat popcorn or drink much when you know you have to use the gross restroom! Third, the theaters are dirty and outdated. The theater we were in tonight had popcorn all under the seats. I’m not talking about a few kernels... I mean it looked like someone dumped a whole large popcorn under the seats In a few places. Pretty gross. The carpets are gross and haven’t been updated since their opening... doesn’t seam most the seats have been either. Sadly this theater is the closest to my house so it’s easiest... but I have started building time in to go to westchester instead where the MANY bathrooms are clean and the theater is up to date. Wish they would build another theater out here in short pump... and I actually spoke with a manager at one time a few months back who said they agreed and that they needed another option to force regal to upgrade theirselves....
Read moreI am writing my first review ever. I feel compelled to do so because of my experience. Went to see the Avenger movie for the first time (I know, what was I waiting for). Anyway, the theatre was so hot it was unbearable. My wife spoke to a manager Jessica twice and nothing was done. As you know, the movie is 3 hours long!!! It was the most uncomfortable I Have ever been. No one came in to check and no one said anything too us or the other customers in the movie. When we came out I asked to speak to the manager. Jessica came over and she said there was nothing they could do. I said you could at least have checked the theater. I did something I have never done before and asked for tickets to come back and actually enjoy the movie. Jessica said she will have to get the manager. So, apparently she wasn’t the manager. 10 minutes later a lady named Candace comes out and walks right by us. She returns and just hands me two tickets without saying anything. Like I am just looking for a handout. Unbelievable, I told her their customer service isn’t very good. She didn’t seem to care. I wasn’t going to even write this review until I saw a guy named Bert wrote about the same issue 5 days ago. So they still didn’t fix the problem and just put us all in the same theatre that didn’t have working a/c. WOW! That’s ridiculous!!! Look at the standard answer I got below. It is the same response that Bert got 6 days ago. They just changed his name to my name! Unbelievable!!! Obviously they don’t care and just need to say something to show they responded....
