I do not recommend buying anything from Arhaus. They do not stand behind their products. I purchased the Bluestone Enzo table for $2,500. Within a few months the table top was covered with water rings from condensation soaking into the stone. These rings are permanent. A google search proved that there are many other unhappy customers who have had this same issue with the Enzo Bluestone tabletop. The reason for purchasing the stone tabletop rather than a wooden table was to avoid this very issue. I contacted Arhaus Concierge services and was told they do not guarantee any of their products after delivery. Also, I received an email with the following suggestions:
“We are very sorry that we are unable to assist further with the finish issues you are experiencing with your Enzo Bluestone table top. We recommend trying the Rock Doctor Trio line of products, which are available on Amazon and designed specifically for stone care.
Additionally, for a professional solution, we suggest reaching out to a local stone mason who can assess and address the finish concerns more thoroughly.”
DO NOT BUY FROM ARHAUS. Arhaus has poor customer service, they do not stand behind their flawed products, and the furniture is very over priced.
As a response to the Arhaus comments below: I did contact the Arhaus Concierge and was told to hire a professional stone mason to remove the water marks and seal the stone. What a joke! I can only imagine how much that would cost (on top of the $2,500 I over-paid for this table). The stone should have been sealed before I purchased it. I was not told by the salesperson Marty Thompson that the table would get water rings and would require coasters before I purchased it. As a matter of fact, I told her this was the reason I was buying a stone table instead of a wooden table. Your return/exchange policy is within 2 weeks of purchase!! That does not give the customer enough time to adequately assess the flaws. I will NEVER buy from this store again and I hope anyone reading this review will think twice before patronizing...
Read moreWhen buying custom pieces from a retailer it’s important they get things correct. There is a reason customers go in to speak live with someone and see quality of the pieces in person. Unfortunately, my experience with Arhaus and their design consultants failed at these things.
We recently moved from Chicago and were looking to furnish our new family home. I went into Arhaus pushing my 3 week old in her stroller looking for two statement chairs for our dining table. I spoke with Hailey one of their design consultants. They were having a sale that lasted through the weekend on beautiful open frame back dining chairs and I could select any fabric for 50 more dollars. I was thrilled by the promotion that they were running. On Saturday, I went in with my entire family - husband, 2 year old and infant to select the wood and fabric option. We decided to “check out” the options and bring them home to ensure it matched our dining room table. Then on Sunday I returned to Arhaus for a THIRD time to buy the chairs. At check out the woman told me it was almost double the price that Hailey had written down on the spec sheet. I was like there must be a mistake, presented the spec sheet that I originally received with the quoted price, they texted Hailey... it was their mistake and the chairs were misquoted to me. I spent 3 trips to the store, lots of time reviewing the options, and time I could have spent with my family only to actually try to buy at the price I was quoted and have a very uncomfortable check out process with Arhaus team. Needless to say I did not buy the chairs, lost time with my family, was not followed up with, and cannot recommend working with Arhaus to anyone who has to furnish their home. Disappointing and uncomfortable experience all around.
Update: I did receive a personal call from Hailey apologizing and saying she will reach out if the chairs ever are discounted to the price she quoted me. I also emailed the arhaus team as they requested below and have not gotten any response. It’s just another disappointing interaction...
