Finding Salon De Jina has been a revelation. For years, I've been on a quest to find the perfect salon, hopping from one top-rated Korean-owned salon to another in Gwinnett. My experiences were often disappointing, with some stylists abruptly leaving and others missing the mark. My last visit elsewhere was particularly disastrous, leaving me with sides that were completely shaved off. During the months it took to regrow my hair, I meticulously researched and finally came across Salon De Jina.
From the moment I reached out on Instagram, Jina's kindness and patience stood out. Today, I finally got my haircut, and it surpassed all my expectations. Jina is the epitome of professionalism: courteous, attentive, and exceptionally skilled. She takes the time to understand exactly what you want, asking detailed questions before, during, and after the haircut to ensure perfection.
The salon itself is a sanctuary of cleanliness and comfort, featuring luxurious equipment like electric reclining chairs at the hair wash stations and a selection of designer products tailored to each client's needs. Salon De Jina is a hidden gem in the truest sense. I’ll be enthusiastically recommending it to all my friends and clients. Thanks to Jina and her wonderful team, I’ve found my permanent salon. There's no need to look anywhere else. Jina truly understands her craft, and for that, I’m...
Read moreI went to this place for haircuts twice. First time I made an appointment about 2 weeks ahead with Jina, and when I drive 4 hours to there they just tell me Jina is busy, someone else will cut it for you, and I had no choice.
Got my haircut again last month, also drove 4 hours down there. The stylist was cold and not care at all. She cut half of my hair and went to checkout somebody else’s bill without telling me, and left me sitting there with half cut wet hair for ten minutes. Other two employees just standing there, like do they not know how to checkout?? However, she did cut what I want afterwards, and it was okay. But right after she dry my hair, didn’t ask me is this what I want or anything, just went straight to the front desk and waiting for me to pay. I haven’t even got a chance to check my hair, and didn’t want her to wait. So I just go ahead and paid, with 15% tip because I thought the haircut was okay. I found out my hair is a bit dry after I paid, so I ask her if she have some product to help my hair not as dry, and she seems like she doesn’t understand English all of the sudden or something. So I try to translate to her by using Google translate, and she just like, oh the translation doesn’t make sense, and roll an eye on me and left.

Read moreI want to write a review to say that Jina is the best hairstylist I’ve found in the U.S. First, I want to thank her for her genuine care for her clients. I rarely leave reviews for businesses, but I have to say that Jina is the only hairstylist I trust enough to go five months without cutting my hair, just to save it for her. The hairstyle she gave my boyfriend is exactly the Korean Oppa style that I love. Her service is absolutely worth tipping more than 20%. A men’s hairstyle designed by a female stylist is the most perfect and fitting. Moreover, her pricing offers great value for money, and her skills not only meet but also optimize my requests. As a Chinese girl who loves Korean styles, I’m thrilled to have gotten the perfect Korean look! Moreover, when I asked if my boyfriend needed a perm to add volume to his hair, she sincerely advised me that it wasn’t necessary and that she could achieve the desired volume without it. The final result not only met the volume expectations but also didn’t cost us anything extra. She is the only honest hairstylist I’ve met who doesn’t try to upsell unnecessary services, and I’m truly touched by her integrity. Jina is...
