I used to visit this place a lot. I learned that the designer clothing I have taken in have been questioned and not bought or given a low ball price on the item. I took an authentic Gucci purse in and they kept it for 2 weeks saying they had to authenticate. I called after 2 weeks and picked it up. I have taken Prada shoes to sell and was given back . Only certain people they purchase authentic items from. I go in and see Walmart, Target, and old navy brand clothing but won’t take Chico’s , Flax, INC, Ralph Lauren, citiknit , Sam Edelman sandals and shoes worn maybe 2-3 times and other name brand designer items from me. When I take things in they are very picky and want to low ball me but I see belts and shoes peeling and I have brought it to their attention. It is sad but true. I love boutiques but I go out of town to shop and sell because I have been told to take it somewhere else. Really? I had a pair of boots that was rejected that cost over 400.00. She rejected to purchase but because a customer knew the value of the boots, they were purchased and sold for over 75.00. It is sad that some people don’t know the value of designer items. They only know Michael Kors and Brahmin, Gucci. I don’t purchase Michael Kors handbags. I see old coach bags in the store but when I take a coach bag it is declined. What is it. I took BCBG shoes and was told they didn’t take that brand because it didn’t sell well. I went in the store and saw the same style BCBG shoe on the rack. How ugly is that? Why do they low ball some people and high ball others? Hmmmmm I don’t shop there as often as I like because of that. I took a brand new beautiful studded white dress for a ball or party. It was denied with the tags on it. I bought 2 at a good price and daughter kept one and I was going to sell the other one. Denied buy. They have a big sale additional 50%off because they have bought a lot of Walmart, Target and old navy clothing and can’t sell. I take designer clothes and they won’t buy. I see they hire new people all the time but I inquired and I get the cold shoulder. The staff is friendly and I even met the owner several times. She is very nice but some of the buys are awful. Wow, is all I can say. I can say a lot but I will STOP here. I hope the owner sees this because what they say they are looking for is not true. The same picture of the sandals they are looking for I took in sam Edelman sandals that I had worn maybe 2 times that fits the description and was declined. Prada pumps in great condition. Declined . Maybe I need to give items to someone else to take in to sell and see if they purchase from her. That is a thought . I took in a brand new sterling silver box chain with a pendant and was offered 1.90 . That is one dollar ninety cents. Are you serious? I couldn’t believe it. Also took brand new beautiful earrings that I paid over 25.00 for. Was offered 1.20. I told the young lady to give me my jewelry. That was an experience. For items valued over 400.00, I was offered 34.00. I was DONE. I love shopping boutiques. I have been told to maybe take the items to another Style Encore and maybe they will purchase . WOW is all I can say. Everyone that knows me know that I wear designer clothes and...

I proceeded to explain that I was representing a client through my organizing business, assisting them in disposing of unwanted clothing. This was an opportunity for me to test this system for potential future clients. Additionally, I mentioned my role as a content creator, intending to document this process on my blog.
The associate promptly glanced at another colleague, whom I inferred was the manager. After a brief discussion, she remarked that they were short-staffed due to associates being preoccupied with their personal endeavors on social media platforms.
From that point on, the encounter deteriorated. I was assured I would receive a follow-up call the next day. When that call finally arrived, they mentioned an offer had been extended. Curious, I sought to know the details, but they refused to divulge them over the phone. Given the 35-minute commute, I needed to plan my visit accordingly. The associate insisted that if I didn’t come in that very day, the offer would only be redeemable as a store credit.
Choosing not to visit that day, I called the following day to inquire about the store credit. I conversed with an associate named Autumn, who reiterated the previous information. Upon my eventual visit, the supposed manager informed me that some of the clothes were deemed dirty and that the offer was limited to three items. I promptly contested this, asserting that the clothes were indeed clean; most of them had just been retrieved from the cleaners. The manager’s response was, ‘Oh, I don’t know, I didn’t go through them.’
At this juncture, I accepted the offer primarily to conclude the interaction as the store has awful pungent odor that was overwhelming. They haphazardly stored the items in a torn trash bag. When I requested another bag, as both shoes and clothes were crammed into this visibly torn one, Autumn adamantly refused, insisting I make do with the damaged bag.
In my assessment, the team failed to accurately evaluate the actual quality of the items I brought. They dismissed them based on an apparent reluctance to fulfill their duties.
Clearly understaffed and overwhelmed, it appears they primarily cater to their regular clientele.
I have no intention...

And one thing I notice is they speak to who they want to speak to and ignore who they do not like! Today they showed their you know what.
One thing I can take is if you don’t like me cool, whatever but trust it’s noticed how those that come in after are greeted. Another time I noticed how they pick and chose who to ask if they were affected by the flood in 2016. I was yet when I walked up to check out buying clothes since I literally lost all I had, I didn’t get the same question so this is a series of events with them.
So today it started with a mirror, there’s no mirror with a clear view other than the fitting room to a reward offer that was snakely denied. Any other store if there’s an offer in front of a customer or something is incorrectly labeled it is honored. Well the worker with the braids whispers to who I believe is the store manager with the glasses something. I thought it was rude since she was checking me out but ignored it. So when I asked about the offer she said oh that was for yesterday. On my end it clearly stated it was 6 days left on the offer. To make a long story short I put something I added back and went to my car to check my text messages. Sure enough the offer is valid until 6/26.
So I call the store and ask for the manager. Instead of giving the manager the phone the receiver asks how could she help. I explain the incident and she responded ‘it’s a system glitch’. I responded no it clearly states the offer is for Juneteenth and ends in 6 days. She continues to say it’s a system glitch and I respond no it’s a you glitch! Obviously the worker cannot read or comprehend because if she could she would have not ‘thought’ and been messy to get an approval to deny me of my right! And for the manager to tell her not to honor it is on another level of they do what they want to do for who they want to do it for.
Otherwise great store to get shoes, purses and clothes for those who do not like shopping at the mall or want something you may not be able to find...
