Go see MARIA (with the good eyelashes) at the Siegen Lane location! I went into today to get a bed for my little girl and ended up purchasing a bed with the trundle, and a whole new dining set. Maria was so patient and helpful! I am indecisive and she helped me come to a decision. I was nervous to buy a dining set with upholstered chairs, but she informed me I could purchase a protection plan on the chairs for 3 years in the event of stains/tears. SOLD! In fact, I was trying to keep my 4 year old busy while we completed the transaction while also trying to text my husband the info she was providing me. I had been there a while shopping, and was so thirsty, so she went to their break room and got me a bottle of water!
Also, the team member who originally greeted me when I arrived, but was occupied with another customer when I was ready to move forward, was Kylee (Also-- good lashes lol)
As far as quality, I bought a kitchen table from Rooms To Go about 5 years ago and its still in excellent condition, so naturally I went back when I wanted a new dining set.
Overall-- If you are still reading this really long review- check them out, ask for the ladies with good eyelashes, and don't skip over R2G just because they are a "chain" furniture store.
Update: The delivery process and installation of our furniture was great. The men were quick and everything went great. Zero complaints. Her Disney princess bed and trundle is such good solid quality! I'm so pleased with my purchases!! Same thing for the Cindy Crawford dining set....
Read moreFirst off let me start off with how the sales associate was very polite, but he lied. He stated that we can come back and buy an item that was on sale after labor day. We came the next day and was not able to purchase the item that was on sale. I explained to the supervisor what was told to us and he just smiled and walked away. Fast forward to delivery day. We have pieces of the sectional that doesn't work and also a wrong piece of the sectional that was cloth, my sectional is leather. We call customer service and now we have to wait for parts to get mailed in and another 2 more weeks for the right piece of my sectional to come in. So now I have an unfinished sectional sitting in my living room. Oh I forgot to mention that the sectional that was sold had 2 arm rests with 2 cup holders. When we got the couch it only came with one. We called and they said ,oh that comes with the sale, you would have to purchase that piece separately. Wish he would have told me that when I bought the couch. Overall total experience was horrible. All they care about is a sale and not working with you and living up to their word. But if this posts gets a response, it would probably be some generic " Sorry ,maybe we could help you better the next time. But it won't be a next time. Should have went to American Factory Direct like I started to!!! I hate you rooms to go!!!! Attached is a picture of how it was supposed to come and how it...
Read moreI give the salesman Mr. Warren 5 stars, because he was a good listener, patient, pleasant, honest, and knowledgeable about the furniture items on the sales floor. But certain policies of Rooms To Go I donât like and are the reason for 3 stars. For example, a delivery fee should not be added to the price of a large furniture item. Of course a sofa needs to be delivered to a home, since itâs so big! So the delivery of a huge item like a sofa should be built into the price. Also, hauling away the old sofa should be included with buying a new sofa at a reasonable fee, like whatever the city dump fee is for couch disposal. We all know we need to deal with 10% sales tax, and we can compute that in our heads. But having to add more and more complexity to the purchase - calling around to Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, Homeless Veteran groups for removal of the old couch and paying a delivery fee- is frustrating and makes me want to avoid furniture stores. Similar to how all the extra fees at hotel rooms or on Ticketmaster make me make me not want to travel or go to concerts. This is a national problem across many industries, and consumers are tired of it. Please work on including all fees into the sticker price of the item so thereâs less feeling of financial frustration and anger watching the taxes and fees ratchet up and up the price that was listed on the sales...
