Timberland Outlet - Dawsonville Ga — Attraction in Cumming

I had been planning to visit the timberland outlet because there is no other timberland store around. After driving 1 hour and 15 minutes, I was initially excited when I arrived at the store. All of the excitement was brief due to the lack of customer service. My wife and I walked into the store and noticed a few customers, but only 1 female staff member up front to greet customers. The lady welcomed us in, and we proceeded to walk around. I walked to the back wall where the 6-inch boots were and noticed 3 male staff members standing by the wall talking... none of them offered help or even acknowledged me.

After going around them, I browsed the wall for a minute or so and spotted 1 of the shoes I wanted. Having difficulties finding my size, I looked for assistance. I turned towards the employees and saw a Hispanic man ask for something, and the eldest looking employee (white man 6'2" slim with beard) pointed in the direction of where the customer should look. He did not offer to help him.

I walked over to the same staff member and asked if he could help me. The young man came over and told me that all the sizes were on the floor already and they had very little back-stock. He then looked down and noticed I had on the 50th anniversary light beige superboot and complimented them as he told me he had just purchased the 6-inch version. He then proceeded to look for my size in the shoe I was looking for, and after a few seconds said "we don't have your size." And walked away.

There was another younger looking male employee who was more engaging and friendly as well as the original young lady who was at the door when we first arrived. The bearded man did ring us up, and he did seem more helpful at checkout. However, first impressions matter. My total came up to over 500 dollars, and I had to ask him if I could give my email so I could earn my timberland community points. The young man seemed as if he just didn't want to help anyone. I wondered if it was a race thing, but he was equally as short and uninterested with the older white man who was asking questions as well.

Not worth another trip. I'll stick to ordering my timberland...

Today, was my first time at this location and I had a poor encounter with the manager (Jasmine). I asked her if they had a particular size in the back in a certain shoe and she responded by saying "what you see out here is the only sizes we have, we sold out of those sizes weeks ago. A friendly associate over heard the conversation and said let me check in the back (which was the most appropriate response) and seconds later she came out with the size. An ideal manager should be a professional at all times especially in customer service, why would you tell a customer that you didn't have a certain size without checking? So, I continued shopping and ignored her actions. As I checked out at the register Jasmine rudely walks up and asked the cashier if it was two transactions as if that was a problem. I had finished my transaction and was awaiting for my boyfriend to finish his. After she asked the cashier that question, I then responded by asking if two transactions was a problem? She then responded in a ugly way talking back to me disrespectfully, and I then demanded a refund. Some people hold managerial titles in customer service and have poor qualities that gives the whole organization a bad look. so i ordered black timberlands for my husbands birthday. The shipping was pretty fast i will give them that, but my boots had scuffs all in them. I looked on the bottom of them and they had been worn. So i checked the inside, the inside printings had been faded. I called and ordered a new pair to which when received were even worse than the first pair. I think i should have gotten half off instead of paying 200 dollars for worn timberland boots.
