Tony Anthony Salon — Attraction in East Point

I called to make an appointment. I told the young man who answered the phone I need a silk press and trim. He informed me they are having a new client special for $50.00 and found a stylist by the name of Shannon to take care of me. I called and spoke with Shannon and made my appointment. When I got there, I was definitely impressed. The salon is nice. She told me her assistant Charles would shampoo my hair and that was fine, as he did a great job. After he finished shampooing my hair and put me under the dryer, she came over and sat next to me. She had barely had a chance to look at my hair. She said I know you were told $50, but that is for someone with short, thin hair. (My hair is long and thick). I asked her how much would it be. She says more than $50.00, but she can not tell me now, she has to comb through it and see. So she brings me to her station and begins blowdrying my hair, being extremely rough. After a few minutes, she called Charles back over and asked him to finish blowdrying my hair, while she did something on her phone. When he was done, she came and started flat ironing my hair. Again, being very rough. She complained how thick my hair is and asked another stylist if he wanted to flat iron the rest of my hair. When she was done, I again asked how much it would be. She said the flat ironing was $55 and the trim was $20, but she would just charge me $70.00 for everything. This is unacceptable. I had to go to an atm next door because she doesn't take cards. I did not have an enjoyable experience, other than when Charles shampooed my hair. My hair is long and thick, but it is also easy to comb through and style. I felt like she took advantage of me and my hair was puffy...

Beautiful salon with just as nice Stylists. I arrived at 10:35 am. for my 11am appt. Within a few minutes, Tony called Caritas over to help me. She was awesome! I told her it's been about 2.5 years since I had my hair professionally done. I mentioned I wanted a color consult as well. So we talked about what's good and what can improve with my hair. I was braiding my hair every 2-2.5 weeks. Then I would give my hair a 1-2 week break and put then rebraid my hair. Caritas said my hair was soft and not too damaged, but I went overboard with detangling it myself. I loved how she explained the difference between a protein treatment and hydration treatment. She stated I didn't need a protein treatment, so I opted for a hydration treatment. I loved the music, the attitudes of the stylists, and my hair. I will be back to see Caritas for more hair care tips and styles. ❤️ I got the $50 silk press trim for $15 and hydration...

If your hair is not becoming to you, you should becoming to see Danni Bruno, at the Tony Anthony Salon!!! She’s amazing!!!!! Danni is professional, and attentive to your needs!!!!! When you lay back to get your hair shampooed, the experience is breathtaking!!!!! Wish I could stay there for HOURS!!!!

Once done, the braid down for my sew-in, was FLAT!!!! Once she completed my sew-in, it didn’t look like I had a helmet on my head!!!!!

The ENTIRE experience, was EVERYTHING!!!!!

Lastly, I am not the Salon type!!!! However, the Tony Anthony Salon is a WHOLE vibe!!!!! Tony the owner, is an amazing spirit!!!!! All of his stylists are top tier!!!!! You will never go wrong with the Tony Anthony experience‼️‼️‼️‼️
