I Was enrolled in this institute for about a year and didnt learn ANYTHING. Before I arrived to UCEDA I was actually learning something in LADO but since UCEDA seemed cheaper I decided to give it a go and almost instantly regreat it. For starters Once I was signing the enrollment papers I found out that YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR YOU VACATIONS! They NEVER EVER gave me the chance to make a payment plan in order to make it more affordable like I read in some response to a review(by the owner). The institute is really small and doesnt have a cafeteria, they make you eat in a classroom and since you have to be there for 9 hours a-day its kinda of stressing, they have a small kitchen with a fridge a microwave and a sink. If you choose to have a 2 weekday class you probably going to have 2 teachers for all of the classes, I personally had a terrible experience with one of them I dont want to give up her name but she is A YOUNG BRAZILIAN FEMALE and she tried to made me expelled from the institute because I found her attitude towards me inappropriate, I complained but the staff didnt mind about it and actually I was the one who got into trouble because of that, later she made up a story saying that I was offensive to her in order to make me expelled again and then retract it...SHE STILL WORKS THERE! And as far as I know she doesnt have credentials to teach and the school knows about it. The worst thing is that all of the staff believed her!!!!! Thats why she still works there...So be careful with some of the staff they do not look into the students best interests. To make a long story short if you are really interested in learning english go to another english institute where they have native american teachers and not people from around the world ( this is in order to have a better pronunciation).woke institute that fired a afroamerican man because he didnt fit their narrative of...
Read moreI completed my course at UCEDA in July 2025 and paid the full July tuition by credit card. According to the signed contract, the initial deposit should be applied to the last month of study — which was July.
The school participated in the SEVIS transfer process, signing the form that confirms my last day as July 31st. Although the SEVIS transfer is still being processed, I am within the legal 60-day grace period with my status valid.
Nevertheless, UCEDA insists there was no duplicate charge, claiming the deposit would only be applied if I had given notice before the invoice was issued — a condition that does not exist in the contract.
This stance raises concerns about the school’s organization and transparency, which has caused similar problems for other students.
I do not recommend UCEDA. If you decide to study there, pay close attention to the terms and keep all communications for...
Read moreI have been attending UCEDA at Falls Church for the past two months, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I decided to enroll, I felt warmly welcomed by the staff—particularly Andrea, who ensured a smooth registration process. Angela also offered invaluable support, guiding me through each step and making my transition effortless.
The classes are well-structured, engaging, and interactive. The teachers use a variety of teaching methods, including real-life conversations, and group discussions.
Beyond the classroom, the school provides a supportive and encouraging environment, with plenty of opportunities to practice English through activities and social events.
Overall, my time at UCEDA has been incredibly rewarding. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their English in a professional yet...
