this is having to be most unorganized nail salon I've ever been to in the area. Honestly, I was referred by a friend of mine to go this nail salon and when i saw the google reviews and photos, i thought it would be an amazing experience because they have such good ratings. I believe the reviews are written and scripted by the owner because i did not have a good experience and i know a few of my friends didn't as well. They made me feel so uncomfortable speaking in their language and not responding to any of my requests but instead were laughing with each other. They told me to pay before starting any of my services because they were worried i would run away. I witnessed them not ask anyone else to do such a thing and pay before receiving the service and i did not argue or complain. I am a young well educated black women who was treated extremely bad and she did not ask the white ladies in the salon to pay first. I work for the Government District of Colombia on 4th Street and never feel the need to mention that to be treated a certain way. The salon just looked extremely out of place. The only great experience i had was speaking with the receptionist Deka. She was extremely nice and was able to have be assisted immediately. The workers were just horrible with the customer service and time. The only other good experience i had was the manicure that was done but other than that it was horrible visit. I do feel bad for a few workers because not all the workers treated me poorly. I do blame the owner for all of this because this is her local business and she should be providing good training on customer service which she hasn't. Anyways , i don't ever waste my time leaving reviews but this experience had been spending all my time figuring out how to leave a GOOGLE REVIEW for such a poorly ran business. i don't want anyone to waste their time or waste their hard earned money on such a company. I would rather drive an hour away to get my nails done where I'm treated like human and receive amazing customer service than ever go back...

I also NEVER told her that she should not be working at a nail salon. If anything, I was being very kind the day I called by not giving your receptionist my thoughts on her negative attitude. I don't really have more time to spend on going back and forth with this foolishness. I went to another nail salon in West Springfield last Saturday, and they did a fantastic job. Also, they were able to give me pricing over the phone for my very simple questions.
O.k., I thought about leaving this rant before I acted, so it may be a little long-winded. I don't appreciate unkind people, but I guess it's the way of the "new world" lately. So I contacted this salon on 4/6/22 based on the volume of positive reviews. When I called, I asked the lady who answered the phone the cost of acrylic fill with gel polish and a gel polish application on my toes. Sounds simple, correct? She then told me to hold on a moment. I guess she thought she put my call on hold, but I heard her telling someone this lady on the phone has TOO many questions, yada, yada, yada. I then waited for her to come back on the phone. She just gave me base pricing and also pricing for a manicure. I never said I wanted a manicure! She basically couldn't give me definitive pricing, which leads me to believe that once they get you there in the chair, you're probably going to have all kinds of add-on pricing when you go to pay. I don't know why it was so difficult to just answer my questions (particularly when their prices are not listed on their website). Most of all, I didn't like the lady's negative attitude. I look at nail salons like 7-11's. There's one on every corner, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. Word of advice...never get too big for your britches!!! You'll lose...
Read moreI have gone to this nail salon a total of three times now, and seen the exact same nail tech who was overall pleasant to work with each time. I always get dip powder on my nails. The first set was done way too thin despite my saying so, and unsurprisingly chipped and broke after only 2 weeks. The second set was done much thicker because I requested again that the dip powder be applied THICK. It was and that set of nails lasted 5 weeks without breaking. By my third visit, my nails had grown out significantly. Once again, I asked that the dip powder be applied thick to keep my nails from breaking. It was not applied exactly to my liking and after washing my hands with water before application of the clear top coat, I noticed none of my nails had a clearly definitive shape. Some were loosely almond-shaped, while others were oval-shaped and one was just pure lumpy altogether. My requests are always very simple out of fear of disappointment. So, when simple tasks cannot be properly executed, and I end up having to go behind a nail tech with a file to try and remedy their mistakes, I find it very difficult to leave a good review much less consider becoming a long-time customer. Two so-so visits out of three just does not cut it for me. On top of this, the nail salon is located in an overly crowded business strip with extremely narrow parking spaces that are often full. The inside of the salon is not very relaxing either due to its long rows of alternating chairs and tables where patrons and nail techs are literally sitting back to back and on top of each other. It's almost like the design is meant to cram in as much business as possible. As a result, you really cannot sit back and relax during your visit. My expectations are clearly much too high, but if yours are not, then give this nail...
