Westview — Attraction in Woodlawn

I thought I just did this! But anyway Lowe's at Westview Mall is one of the worst places to shop for Home Improvement needs. I have had one bad experience after another dealing with this particular loads whether it has been in-store shopping or delivery they always let me down! That's one thing I can count on. Every time I swear I will never go back in that store but it is the closest to my house so I always end up going back and I always end up being sorry. One time I had boarded washing machine and it was supposed to be delivered on a certain day the delivery truck came the guys went downstairs to my basement and open the downstairs door. Then at the truck they said to me we're not leaving this washing machine it has a scratch on the side! It was just ridiculous it should have been up to me whether or not I was going to accept the washing machine and I have no idea why that even went to my basement when they knew they were not going to leave the machine I had already paid for it and was afraid I would not be able to get my money back because they weren't giving me any paperwork saying they did not leave the machine. Well after arguing with them for quite some time I drove up to my neighborhood Lowe's. As I knew they did not want to refund my money. They expecting me to wait another couple weeks to have another machine delivered well I had a fit after causing a scene the store manager finally came and gave me cash back just to get rid of me. But I mean I was in hysterics in order to get my money back that was Unreal. And I have many other stories I could tell you about this Lowe's store and their customer service. Westview Mall is conveniently located off of route 40. Years ago it was a Strip Mall then a Mall and now it's a Strip Mall again. Over the years, it has always been well maintained and a good place for shopping.

The area is clean with a few people hanging around. There are several major draws such as; Sam’s Club, Marshalls, Lowe’s and Chuck E Cheese's.

The Sam’s Club is typically well stocked and clean on the inside. It maintains a good supply of: meats, poultry, fruits, vegetables and household supplies.

Sam’s Club's management keeps the restrooms clean, but needs to do a better job of maintaining the canteen area. Its parking lot and grounds are often a little trashy.

The staff's attitude has improved considerably over the past few months.

There are a very limited number of motorized carts and plenty of regular shopping carts.

Sam's Club consistently has one of the lowest gasoline prices...

I tried to purchase a vacuum cleaner that had a clearence sign on them.when I paid for it the price was $150 more than the sign said. The cashier said it was too late for her to do anything about it and that I would have to go to customer service to straighten it out. After waiting in line for a long time I finally got waited on. I had taken a picture of the clearence sign and showed it to the service rep who informed me that the serial numbers didn't match and that I had the wrong vacuum. The bottom line is that all of the vacuums on display were wrong. The manager then stated that it's my responsibility to check that what I buy is correct before I buy it.
