Willow Fork Park in Katy is one of my absolute favorite locations for outdoor photo shoots! As a professional photographer and owner of Candy Fox Photo Studio, I’m always on the lookout for beautiful, versatile locations—and this park truly has it all.

From serene lakes and forested trails to open gardens, bridges, and quiet benches, Willow Fork offers a variety of natural backdrops and lighting conditions that make every session unique. The landscaping is stunning year-round and works beautifully for family portraits, engagements, personal branding, and more.

Our studio is just 6 minutes away, which makes it easy to combine both indoor and outdoor portraits in one session—perfect for clients who want the polished look of studio lighting and the relaxed beauty of nature.

We just recently had our sons birthday party here. The park staff are so nice and helpful. The nicest gentleman with a golf cart came up from the park and helped us carry the cupcakes and some other things. We would have been lugging with small kids. He was so informative about the park. Half way though our party another park employee brought us a large bag to help with our trash. I can't tell you how much we appreciated them. Our party wasn't the only on that day a total of three. It was nice and we all had room there. We had kids of all ages there it was a great experience we will come back! Bathrooms are always clean! Yes,they have outlet plugs next to the tables! We love taking a long walk through the winding sidewalks as we keep an eye out for the variety of wildlife make their home in Willow Fork Park. There's a playground for kids with all types of activities to keep them busy. There's also a butterfly garden you can walk through and hopefully experience some butterflies in action. You'll find an entire disc golf course at Willow Fork so keep an ear and eye out for any flying disks. There's also educational signage throughout the park which is neat to stop at to get some schooling on the local habitat.
