Gelato&Co. Katy — Restaurant in Texas

This used to be my favorite place to get coffee. Their flat white and cappuccinos were incredible and the coffee is some of the best ive tried and the pistachio gelato is my favorite. Ive come here for years. I have always brought my friends ans family here as well. Today i came in and ordered the same thing i always order only to notice that the coffee sizes have been CUT IN HALF, honestly more than half. The cup size was ridiculous and the size you would get for a baby or a puppy or something. Of course for the same price. I was told theyve changed the sizes. This is absolutely unacceptable and embarrassing, I understand a small size change but this is ridiculous. Photo of my hand for comparison, and my hands are very small. My mom got the large and it was smaller than the small used to be. The small is literally an XXS now. Same price of course. Gelato & Co advertises being able to rent carts for parties. I was throwing my mom an Italian themed 50th birthday party back in September and thought their cart would be the perfect fit. The day of comes and I hadn't heard from them, I called 2 hours before the party, I was put on a very long hold (felt like 8 minutes) they came back on saying they were coming. It became very obvious they completely forgot until I called. When they arrived all they brought was a fold out table, and a plastic container to keep the gelato cold. Not the adorable cart they advertise(and what I thought I was paying to rent), it was frankly ugly and as a pastry chef I could of done that myself. I paid for an extra two hours, and still the girl who they sent to attend it was asking me to leave early because she was bored, I still tipped her and paid for the entire rental + gelato. I ordered a tiramisu cake and instead got a tiramisu ice cream cake. Disaster at the birthday because the cake melted before we were able to cut it. I even double checked with the employee to make sure that it was the right order and they said yes.(On the email receipt it says "Cake - Tiramisu") I wish I knew it was an ice cream cake so we could have at least kept it in the freezer. If anything the bottom cake part of the tiramisu ice cream cake tasted good which is why I'm not giving it a flat out 1 star.

EDIT: they called back and was very sweet and understanding about the whole situation. I was not expecting a call on the same day I wrote this review but that just shows how quick they are to resolve these types of situations. I really appreciate all they did and would definitely recommend this place to others. Wonderful tiramisu cakes and even better...
