World Market — Attraction in Santa Clarita

11/5/24: World Market responded to my review below dated 11/4 but they didn’t solve my issue, which is the refund minus the shipping fee. (This review was submitted on 11/4 - I bought an area rug online, which was shipped to my residence. The total cost including shipping and tax was $258.99. I returned the rug and was given a returned receipt summary. I later received an email from World Market that $218.99 will be refunded back into my credit card. I called their customer service to inquire as to the reason I’m being refunded less that what Id paid for. The response that I received was that tax and shipping cost were non refundable. The cashiers are very rude and miserable and grouchy . They don’t greet you , say hi , or even look at you . They just ring your things up , don't even tell you your total and wait for you to put your card in . You ladies are too told to not know how to give proper customer service . I’ve had this same experience the 2 times I’ve came into this store with 2 different old lady employees . This treatment disgusted me and I’m in disbelief and will never return to this...
