Great place to exercise as the asphalt path is almost exactly 1/2 mile long so I know how far I have to go. The asphalt is in decent condition and does not feel slippery in the rain. Fishermans seafood market is a lovely place to eat at and there are a few points of interest with a boat and a pavilion. This area is aging though and there are serious sanitation problems both along the path where people camp nearby and the perennially broken porta potties at the end of the boardwalk. The wooden walkway is beginning to loosen and even the roof of the sturdy pavilion is getting gray with age.
