Looking for a quick stop off of 101? Check out Coos Bay’s Boardwalk! Enjoy a walkable and interactive map of the bay, eat freah fish and chips, see the inside of a tug boat, and soak in those beautiful views! #coosbay #hwy101 #oregonsadventurecoast #hwy101oregon #oregon #freethingstodo

The Boardwalk is great for a nice walk. Along the way there are bits of history to be learned. There is a place to eat fish and chips on the dock. It would be nice if there were some vendors or activities along the boardwalk.

We enjoyed reading about the history of the bay as well as seeing the boats. Nice boardwalk area that was mostly handicap(wheelchair/scooter) friendly.

Great place to exercise as the asphalt path is almost exactly 1/2 mile long so I know how far I have to go. The asphalt is in decent condition and does not feel slippery in the rain. Fishermans seafood market is a lovely place to eat at and there are a few points of interest with a boat and a pavilion. This area is aging though and there are serious sanitation problems both along the path where people camp nearby and the perennially broken porta potties at the end of the boardwalk. The wooden walkway is beginning to loosen and even the roof of the sturdy pavilion is getting gray with age. The interesting signs telling the history of Coos Bay are now damaged when they aren't covered in algae. Needs some work but I love being able to see the...

From one end of the boardwalk to the other is just about 1 mile. It’s a nice leisurely walk along the waterfront. Lots of historical information in the pavilion area. In the early development stage of Coos Bay logging was the primary industry. Coos Bay is located on the coast in Central coast of Oregon. Plenty to do here for sportsman, fisherman, and dune...

Coos Bay Boardwalk is a beautiful, scenic area to walk. We exercise down there on an almost daily basis. On a sunny day you can't beat it. Some people like to fish from the area further down the walk beyond the boardwalk, and that's nice to see. If you get peckish after your walk you can pop into a number of excellent restaurants in the area for...
