Pueblo Nuevo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Coos Bay

We stopped in because pretty much everything else in town was closed and we saw a group heading in so figured it might be a fun place. There were only 4 parties in the whole place, not sure if that is because of Covid or just the small town. The waitresses tag teamed all parties so they were very attentive. The salsa was really good and they made fresh guac for me because they were out, it was damn near perfect seasoning! My Chicken enchilada was ok and the beef taco was great (seasoning was on point again). My BF wasn't crazy about the chalupa but he never had one before and it was HUGE but his enchilada was really good. We also had Marg's (the step up from house) and they were SO GOOD! They threatened to call the cops on us for asking them to warm up our dish. The cook came out and said “I don’t know what you’re expecting or when you come from but this isn’t a five star restaurant” and we said “for the food to be warmed up?” And then we decided to leave because we aren’t going to eat, pay, or give service to rude service like that. We told him to call the cops, as we had not consumed even one bite of our food other than the complimentary chips. The guy that owns this place is super unprofessional. These guys need to get it together. I brought my family of 4 there and they continuisly screwed up. We asked if the refried bean had lard, they do so but they told me the whole pintos don’t. We were very specific about being vegetarian (even ordered a chicken dish without th chicken) and after we ordered the whole beans the gave us refried beans. The excuse was that they had mashed the rest of their beans. Then there was beef in the lettuce on the plate. I had to scrape the refried beans off of the plate and take chili colorado out of my mouth....
