Tom Bright 5 reviews a year ago I just left Coney Station after sitting 20 minutes without service.
I used to come here pretty frequently but something has happened. I noticed a help wanted sign outside upon leaving. Perhaps they are having help issues. I really don't care. I drove up the road to Walt's Pourhouse and was seated, waited on and served in a few minutes.
I really hope they get it together. I used to like it there. But it may be quite some time before I return. 2
I agree with this Review by Tom. I was rudely addressed on Facebook when all I asked was a question about how thier procedure was with it pertaining to Covid-19 Protocol. I recieved this response:
Andy I am not even going to BEGIN to answer this question. We have been doing this for over a year now. Show up and see that common sense plays a large role. Have a great day.
Then someone else sent me this response to make up for it
Andy you must still wear a mask while roaming around the bar and may be removed when sitting at a table, we have made no changes regarding this rule. Karaoke you are also allowed to remove your mask to sing and you will be given a sanitized mic and cover.
So I gave them another chance and went in one Friday evening and they were busy, but for over 10 minutes I was not acknowledged, maybe cause I was by myself or a small table, but groups of people that seemed like regulars got all the attention they anted and needed. I walked out.
I then went last night and saw my co-workers band play and it seemed much better than before experience and atmosphere wise, but there was one guy in particular who I asked if they had a drink menu, and he said "NO" he just seemed to be a jerk and started my evening and experience bad. I told the Hostess and she offered to make it right by buying me a drink on her , then when I wanted another drink I looked for her and she was not there and had left.
Anyway I agree with Tom, At Walt's Pourhouse I get acknowledged, service after I seat myself, the ladies there are always attentive, great atmosphere, no jerks like that one guy at Coney. Great Overall experience every...
Read moreI must admit I've only had 2 encounters with this establishment and I must say I am not impressed if anything I feel let down. I took my wife there for her 21st birthday and couldnt even get her a birthday drink. We recently went back during the Cruise the Coos (21 years later) we walked in and sat down at the table that wasn't even sanitized and seen a waitress that said she'd be right with us. We waited and another waitress said she'd be right with us but low and behold we sat there and watched customers crowd the bar with their orders and watched some to even place another drink order while we yet to place our drink and meal order before the Cruise the Coos. We left after 45 min without service so I can't say I'd send any referrals or recommendations to this establishment. Completely unimpressed at this point especially reading the good reviews. Does that mean only the good ones get posted? AKA filtering. I guess I'll know if this gets posted on your...
Read moreThis is most definitely THE bar!!! ❤ Not much else to say. .. All My friends go there.... Great hosts. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great Mood. Great Peoples.. 😅 Good Local Safe Spot. 👍🙂 Being from the 'City of Lights' this is definitely popping more than i expected for a small town. As is their 'Down-Town' spot.
Especially during times right now, as Covid August 2020. They are struggling to please everyone and working SO Freakin hard to 'Comply with regulations', struggling to have their gusts be patient with them and be respectful to the 'New Normal'. 🤪😷😅🤯 Overall... my number one spot no matter what's going on in my own world or the rest of the world. 😅🙃 it's a good escape. Most definitely worth spending an evening at, or mid day for their fish and pool tables. Can't forget the Jukebox!! Oh! & The view!! Kind of a narrow one of the bay but worth it!!! 😁 If you do check it out sometime,, Do me a favor.. . Tell Rev' the Sever I...
