Whether you’re driving along Route 101 or lucky enough to be in Coos Bay, if you're craving some good Thai food, this place is a must-visit. We tried the pineapple fried rice, Thai chicken basil, fried tofu, and guichai (crispy garlic chive), and every bite was spot on. The flavors were authentic, and everything tasted so fresh—we only wish we had room to try more.
The prices are super reasonable, especially for how good the food is, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. It’s family-owned, and you can tell they care about both their food and their customers. The food service is very fast, but keep in mind that the kitchen team is small and family-operated, so if the dining room is full, there might be a bit of a wait, but absolutely worth it because they put so much care into every dish.
Also, a note on the spice levels: if you’re not used to authentic Thai heat, be careful! Medium spicy is already pretty spicy for most people, and ordering the highest level is really only for those who know they can handle serious spice (probably Thai-level spicy). Don’t overestimate your tolerance, or you might end up wasting some really great food. We’ll definitely be back to try more, and we highly recommend sticking around to enjoy everything this place...
Read moreMy favorite Thai dish to order is always spicy Pad Thai. I’ve ordered many spicy Pad Thais and usually never have any trouble with them. It is my go to. This may have been my fault as this was my first time eating here but when the waitress asked how spicy I wanted it from 1 - 6 I said 5. I love spice. The problem I encountered wasn’t the spice, but the dish was very sweet. I’m not sure if it was the sauce used or if sugar was put in to balance the spice. Also, this was the first time I have ever not received lime with my pad Thai. I thought maybe it was just missing lime. Thankfully the waitress brought me some when I asked. Unfortunately it was still oddly sweet even with the lime. It tasted kind of like corn syrup which I try to avoid. Well, I’d already put lime on it and I was hungry so I tried to eat as much as I could but I couldn’t make myself finish it so I took the rest to go. Unfortunately, after I left my stomach started hurting. It’s been about an hour since I ate there and I am laying down because I feel sick. I promise I’m not usually the type to complain but I’m just bummed because I was really excited to try this restaurant and now I...
Read moreTheir food is amazing. 3 of us ate here & all 3 of us loved our food. This is a rare gem... Everything on their menu looks just like the food served. How often can you say that? I ordered the Shrimp in a sweet/spicy chili sauce & Asparagus with peanut sauce & sticky rice. It was amazing! We also ordered a hot & Sour soup w/tofu... Omg! So good. Nick ordered a orange chicken meal w/rice & it looked very good. Mike had a stir fry & it was very good according to Mike. There were no leftovers for any of us. Not to mention, our waitress was such a sweetheart. They were very accommodating of our party of 3.5 (.5=Sadie), seating us in very comfortable seats & a table/seats for 4, so Sadie wouldn't be accidentally bumped by anyone, & she had a chair that fit her car seat w/o any concerns. The waitress was in awe over our cutie, admitting that she was "gawking" over my lil' beauty. The prices are a little less than most Thai restaurants, and their menu is very extensive. Everything you could ask for and more on the menu. This is a...
