The Coos Art Museum is a very nice Museum. The building is clean and well maintained. There are several restrooms in the building. There is a fee but it is very minimal. Most of the artwork is for sale and there are binders showing the prices. The staff is very friendly. I did not see any handicapped parking in front of the building but there is a ramp to the front door and there is an elevator to the second floor. The entrance door does have a button to open the door.. The first floor art rooms are wide open and plenty of open space. Closed Sunday and Monday then open weekdays Tuesday thru Friday 10am till 4 pm. Both of my kids are involved in the arts, so this was right up our alley as a family. They also had a 'people's choice' contest going on where we could vote on the paintings we liked best in the main gallery, and it was such a good idea because it sparked a lot of great conversation about the pieces.
