I’m not one to leave bad reviews but this gym is definitely false advertising there services.
I walked into the Coral Springs EOS Fitness October 23rd, 2025 excited to sign up for a gym membership, I have never been into an EOS before, after leaving YouFit I figured I would try a different gym and I’ve heard good things about EOS. I did not realize shortly after that I signed up I would be this upset.
I signed for a gym membership that day, After I signed up for a membership the guy who was helping me asked me if I would be interested in a personal training program, I said I’m not sure but I would be open to hearing about what they offer.
When I sat down with the personal training manager he was very nice but I felt as if I couldn’t say no he tried getting me to pick the more expensive plan and was telling me I had to lose almost 100 pounds (95.5 to be exact) to be “in range” whatever that meant, I felt judged and pressured into signing up but I did sign up for a basic plan for once a week because I figured it would be good for me.
He scheduled my first training session for the following week, the 29th of October- Which would be, 6 DAYS AFTER “SIGNING UP” for the program. He clearly told me once you have your first personal training session, if you don’t like the training for whatever reason, you have 3 days to cancel and get your money back.
On Monday of that week I had a family emergency and I had to go out of town & I could not attend my first class and I had to cancel my session. I called this afternoon to cancel the personal training program because I’m very overwhelmed with my current family situation and I don’t know when I will be back in town and the billing is every two weeks.
He said it’s a Florida law that I can’t cancel and I had 3 days after signing up to cancel. But that was not stated to me AT ALL & honestly I feel very upset as this was falsely advertised as a stated to me in person, and feels like I just got trapped into paying and I don’t even feel Comfortable attending the sessions anymore…
If we booked my first class 6 DAYS AFTER signing up for the program…., HOW COULD I HAVE CANCELLED if I didn’t like it as he stated… he blatantly lied to me saying three days AFTER my first personal fitness training session, logically doesn’t make sense how I would have cancelled if my first session wasn’t until the following week!! Now this is making me re-think even keeping my actual gym membership with EOS. Now I am forced to wait for them to go over my cancellation request and hopefully approve it!! After reading all of the other reviews on the same topic it sounds like they do this very offer and mislead people very often which is very upsetting to say...
Read moreI had high hopes for this gym however it has gone downhill and it hasn’t even been open for 5 months. First is the parking, good luck trying to find anything from 5 AM all the way to 10 PM. I come to classes around 5:30 AM throughout the week and it is constantly busy. You would think that this would be slow hours but this gym is literally busy all the way till midnight. Not only is this gym overcrowded, tons of teenagers come in groups and stand around the machines making it impossible to work out, all that’s available is cardio machines. If it wasn’t for the classes I would not be able to work out at any point of the day unless I go at midnight. Also, most of the members here have no type of gym etiquette. None of the weights are put back into proper areas and I have worked out on a couple of machines and have had people come up and just grab weights from the same rack that I’m using without even asking. People throw their used napkins on the floor and leave stuff behind. The gym provides barbell clips and a half of them are missing and stolen. Good luck trying to use the locker rooms as well… with the amount of people taking pictures of themselves there’s no sense of privacy even though there’s signs that clearly say that you are not allowed to photograph inside of the locker rooms. The other day I was getting dressed and another member decided to take pictures of herself in the mirror right next to me thank gosh I said some thing or else I would’ve been in the background of someone else’s photo along with girls getting out of showers etc. I pay an additional fee as well to have unlimited guest privileges however there’s people who walk into this gym without even scanning their membership. I could literally bring anyone and pay a basic fee and none of the staff would notice that this member does not belong here. Same goes for the classes, you need to be setting alarms in order to secure your seat in a class however when you get there half of the class will be missing and people refuse to cancel. Tons of people entering classes don’t have tickets either when the class is full so nobody knows if they should be there or not. I could’ve got the cheapest membership possible and had access to every facility at this gym nobody here cares. I will be taking my business elsewhere
UPDATE This gym continues to get filthier each time I come. Classes have not changed and have anyone walking in so they end up overcrowding the studio. Don’t bother paying any more money to use the amenities because they don’t check anyway 👍🏼Womens restroom is also not cleaned every hour like the checklist displayed in the...
Read moreI’m visiting Coral Springs for the week and, wanting to keep up with my fitness progress, I signed up for a 7-day pass at EOS on University Drive. First impression of the gym? Impressive. Clean space, great equipment, solid vibe. As a tourist, I was excited to keep training here.
But that excitement dropped real fast after my interaction with a front desk staff member named Sean.
When I arrived for my leg day, I gave my phone number like I had done the day before. The young lady at the desk couldn’t find me in the system, so she called Sean over for help. From the moment he approached, his tone was cold and aggressive. No hello, no courtesy, just straight to “Who signed you up for the 7 day pass?!”
Not only was the question irrelevant, but the delivery was completely out of line. The tone, the posture… it was like I had disrespected him personally. I tried to keep calm, but the back and forth felt hostile. It drained my energy and left me feeling like a victim, not a customer.
Eventually I asked to speak to a manager so I could get my workout started. Sean said he’d call her “to find out what was going on with my account.” When the manager arrived, it took her two minutes to fix the issue. That’s all it took.
I won’t go into every detail of the conversation, but let’s just say: the ego was real. At one point during our exchange, Sean said, “I have a lot of energy,” after I told him I didn’t appreciate his energy. That says a lot.
After my workout, I waited to speak with the manager again just to clarify how things would go for the rest of the week. As Sean was leaving, I tested the waters and said, “Hope to see you tomorrow?” He replied, “Yes, for sure,” with a kind of smug confidence, like he owns the place.
I paid $35 USD for a pass, which makes me a paying customer like anyone else. I came in with good vibes and respect. I expected the same in return.
EOS, your gym is great. But no matter how good the equipment is, one staff member’s attitude can ruin the entire experience.
This isn’t just about ego, this is about how you make people feel.
And today, I didn’t...
