My visit to El Mariachi Restaurant with family for lunch and was very disappointing. Both in the service and food at this establishment are in great need of improvement. Upon arrival the hostess was on her phone and seemed annoyed that we came to the restaurant. Once we were seated we quickly noticed the disproportionate booth to table size. For a restaurant claiming to serve Mexican - Spanish food their menu was very underwhelming and extraordinarily over priced. When we arrived the restaurant was mostly empty and staff seemed disinterested in tending to customers. The menu was unclear by which I mean the descriptions of the food did not by any means reflect what was actually served. Once the food arrived it was bland and when we reached for the salt shaker it was so clogged that no salt could make its way out. The tortilla soup was one of the biggest let downs, the broth was flavorless and had two small pieces of beef and one slice of avocado cut in to three with the salad tortilla chip slivers. Opting for the masas de puerco myself I was served mushy overcooked pork with greasy onions and the a rather large chunk of unprocessed onion. Once we were able to flag our server down and have the soup taken back the server did not ask if something was wrong or if something had caused the food to be sent back. We ate what we could before requesting the check. As we had a bad experience we did not feel inclined to leave a tip, upon noticing this our server became irate and exclaimed that the tips are what they use to pay the bussers and dishwashers. Overall I would not recommend this establishment.

This place has fantastic food. The burrito was the best burrito that I have ever had and I have had a lot. It was a complex mix of flavors and was juicy. The accompanying yellow rice and refried beans were also good. We shared nachos supreme. They were also good. My spouse had the Lechon Asado. Wow! Very good. The meat alone was good. When mixed with the rice, it had an entirely different taste profile that was even better than separately. This restaurant has both Mexican food and Cuban food. The options we saw going to other tables all looked tasty. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. Inside had seats at the bar, booths, tables, and mixed booths and tables. We will be back. It was so good!

Restaurant is pretty big, inside and outdoor seating gets pretty packed on the weekends. Our waiter was excellent, funny, attentive and outgoing. Chips and salsa were yummy, order Micheladas but they weren't good at all, very plain (more like plain beer) they charge $2.00 extra which they never told us for switching out your beer to Modelo. Food came out pretty quick even though they were busy, everything tasted great. They had live music outside, but the singer sucks lol, not a good voice, good thing we sat inside but other than that would recommend.

Not quite what I was hoping for when I chose this place for a decent dinner. My family is passionate about Mexican food and we eat it on a regular basis. For the price I was paying for the fajitas I was hoping to have something that melted in my mouth and made me excited for every bite. It wasn't bad, but it was what I would expect from $10 fajitas. I had the chicken and my mom had the steak and she said the steak was much better. It was disappointing that the rice and beans cost almost $3 on top of the expensive fajitas though. I don't think there were many entrees less than $15-16, and then to have to order sides on top of that. The Cuban side of the menu did come with sides. The worst part was not having enough salsa the whole time. They bring everyone prefilled salsa bowls, but they didn't even bring enough the first time. We had 6 people and they brought 5 salsas and 2 baskets of chips. When we asked for a refill after both baskets and all 5 salsas had been easily emptied they brought out 2 salsas and 1 bag of chips. That was gone quickly as well and the waiter easily saw that everything was empty and did not even offer to bring more and didn't remove anything from the table. I had to ask 2 more times for salsa because I like to eat it with my fajitas and my sides as do several others at our table and there was just never enough, especially considering that the salsa was the most delicious thing they had. It was good salsa. The rice wasn't the best in my opinion and again I wasn't a big fan of the chicken fajitas. The atmosphere was decent and I liked the patio area. However, the proportion of the table and booth that we were at was uncomfortable. Either the table was too tall or the booth was too low. I felt like I was reaching for every bite I ate. We had the round booth with a circle table. Nobody ordered drinks due to the prices. As a tourist who visits the area often and has family here, I would not eat here again and I don't think they plan to either. I'm sure there are Mexican places with better food and better prices that would be...

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this restaurant because the experience was beyond disappointing. The service was absolutely terrible. Our server was slow, barely present at the table, and seemed completely uninterested in providing even the most basic attention to detail. Half the time, she was nowhere to be found.

When the food finally came out—after what felt like forever—the experience somehow got worse. In the middle of eating, with my mouth full of food, the waitress demanded that my wife and I move tables to accommodate a larger party. No courtesy, no respect, not even a chance for me to respond. She literally started taking my plates and drinks away while I was still chewing and carried them over to another table. I was left standing there, shocked, holding my fork like an idiot, while my food was being relocated mid-bite.

To make matters worse, I watched as the staff handled my plates with their fingers all over the rims and edges, which is beyond unsanitary. The lack of professionalism and hygiene was unbelievable. My wife and I were disgusted. The entire ordeal completely killed my appetite—I couldn’t even finish my meal after being forced to move like that.

I’ve dined out all over and I’ve never had such a rude, careless, and unprofessional experience. Forcing paying customers to give up their table after they’ve already been served is unacceptable in any restaurant, let alone one that already has such poor service. It felt like we weren’t valued at all.

If management thinks this is an acceptable way to treat customers, they should be ashamed. Needless to say, we will never return here and I strongly advise others to save themselves the frustration and go literally...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Mariachi Restaurant, and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a great experience. The warm welcome from the staff immediately made me feel at home, setting the perfect tone for the evening.

A special shoutout to Carolina, our waitress, who truly made our visit unforgettable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. From taking the time to explain the different dishes on the menu to checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, her attentiveness and friendly demeanor made all the difference. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests, and it’s that kind of service that turns a good meal into a great one. She’s an absolute asset to the restaurant!

The food itself was nothing short of amazing. The menu offers a fantastic selection of authentic Mexican dishes, each prepared with care and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, and every bite felt like a trip to Mexico. I also tried their passion fruit margarita—refreshing and perfectly balanced, making it the ideal complement to the meal.

Beyond the food, the ambiance of El Mariachi is warm and inviting, with lively Latin music playing softly in the background, adding to the experience. The entire staff is knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, always ready with recommendations and a smile.

Overall, El Mariachi excels in both food and service, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican flavors paired with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be in Coral Springs. And if you’re lucky enough to have Carolina as your waitress, you’re in for an extra...
