Not quite what I was hoping for when I chose this place for a decent dinner. My family is passionate about Mexican food and we eat it on a regular basis. For the price I was paying for the fajitas I was hoping to have something that melted in my mouth and made me excited for every bite. It wasn't bad, but it was what I would expect from $10 fajitas. I had the chicken and my mom had the steak and she said the steak was much better. It was disappointing that the rice and beans cost almost $3 on top of the expensive fajitas though. I don't think there were many entrees less than $15-16, and then to have to order sides on top of that. The Cuban side of the menu did come with sides. The worst part was not having enough salsa the whole time. They bring everyone prefilled salsa bowls, but they didn't even bring enough the first time. We had 6 people and they brought 5 salsas and 2 baskets of chips. When we asked for a refill after both baskets and all 5 salsas had been easily emptied they brought out 2 salsas and 1 bag of chips. That was gone quickly as well and the waiter easily saw that everything was empty and did not even offer to bring more and didn't remove anything from the table. I had to ask 2 more times for salsa because I like to eat it with my fajitas and my sides as do several others at our table and there was just never enough, especially considering that the salsa was the most delicious thing they had. It was good salsa. The rice wasn't the best in my opinion and again I wasn't a big fan of the chicken fajitas. The atmosphere was decent and I liked the patio area. However, the proportion of the table and booth that we were at was uncomfortable. Either the table was too tall or the booth was too low. I felt like I was reaching for every bite I ate. We had the round booth with a circle table. Nobody ordered drinks due to the prices. As a tourist who visits the area often and has family here, I would not eat here again and I don't think they plan to either. I'm sure there are Mexican places with better food and better prices that would be...
Read moreI honestly don’t even know where to start with this restaurant because the experience was beyond disappointing. The service was absolutely terrible. Our server was slow, barely present at the table, and seemed completely uninterested in providing even the most basic attention to detail. Half the time, she was nowhere to be found.
When the food finally came out—after what felt like forever—the experience somehow got worse. In the middle of eating, with my mouth full of food, the waitress demanded that my wife and I move tables to accommodate a larger party. No courtesy, no respect, not even a chance for me to respond. She literally started taking my plates and drinks away while I was still chewing and carried them over to another table. I was left standing there, shocked, holding my fork like an idiot, while my food was being relocated mid-bite.
To make matters worse, I watched as the staff handled my plates with their fingers all over the rims and edges, which is beyond unsanitary. The lack of professionalism and hygiene was unbelievable. My wife and I were disgusted. The entire ordeal completely killed my appetite—I couldn’t even finish my meal after being forced to move like that.
I’ve dined out all over and I’ve never had such a rude, careless, and unprofessional experience. Forcing paying customers to give up their table after they’ve already been served is unacceptable in any restaurant, let alone one that already has such poor service. It felt like we weren’t valued at all.
If management thinks this is an acceptable way to treat customers, they should be ashamed. Needless to say, we will never return here and I strongly advise others to save themselves the frustration and go literally...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at El Mariachi Restaurant, and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a great experience. The warm welcome from the staff immediately made me feel at home, setting the perfect tone for the evening.
A special shoutout to Carolina, our waitress, who truly made our visit unforgettable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. From taking the time to explain the different dishes on the menu to checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, her attentiveness and friendly demeanor made all the difference. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests, and it’s that kind of service that turns a good meal into a great one. She’s an absolute asset to the restaurant!
The food itself was nothing short of amazing. The menu offers a fantastic selection of authentic Mexican dishes, each prepared with care and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, and every bite felt like a trip to Mexico. I also tried their passion fruit margarita—refreshing and perfectly balanced, making it the ideal complement to the meal.
Beyond the food, the ambiance of El Mariachi is warm and inviting, with lively Latin music playing softly in the background, adding to the experience. The entire staff is knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, always ready with recommendations and a smile.
Overall, El Mariachi excels in both food and service, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican flavors paired with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be in Coral Springs. And if you’re lucky enough to have Carolina as your waitress, you’re in for an extra...
