Plaster Carousel Fun Painting Studio — Attraction in Coral Springs

I came here with a friend and our kids. I have not done something like this in probably 20 years and thought I knew what to expect. I was very wrong.

I was shocked how expensive everything was, they do have a $15 shelf but there was not really anything I liked or seemed worth the price and I preferred something that was at least functional so I got a trinket box which was $24.

My biggest issue is that you have to pay for a package of paint brushes for $5. The brushes used to be included in the overall cost /experience like the paint is, so charging for it and charging so much is just very greedy to me and also very wasteful. I understand they need to make a profit but you are already charging a lot for the items and you cant really paint without the paint brushes. I did learn that you can bring your own but I dont just carry brushes with me and im not about to bring wet used brushes back home with me .

The place is also very cramped and hard to move around if you have to get up. A lot of the paints on the tables were low and had to be replaced so that was a little irritating having to get up repeatedly to get new ones.

I was hoping this would be something to come to more regularly but not at that...

First of all we just love Plaster Carousel! My parents love to take our kids here for one on one time & it is just such a sweet place and a great atmosphere. Last weekend we had my daughter’s 5th birthday here and it was amazing. We had a last minute birthday emergency- the other place we had booked told us 2 days before that they had double booked & canceled our party. Plaster Carousel came through for us and I couldn’t imagine it being any better! Debbie and Scott were so kind, accommodating, and helpful. If I could give this place six stars, I would. No, make that seven.

The whole experience was nice and relaxing, and the plaster painting is fun for all ages. I would know, I'm a high schooler.

The customer service was fantastic. Every want or need I had was answered within seconds. Even after I stepped not one foot out the door and tripped and dropped my plaster, and it shattered all over the ground, the kind and helpful staff assisted me in piecing it back together, good as new.

Overall, I enjoyed my time there a lot, and I'll definitely be returning...
