Koriander — Restaurant in Corvallis

Update review. November 2024 the restaurant and the quality of food has really gone downhill. The restaurant is absolutely filthy. They've definitely need to shut down for a while Just to clean it. Benton county food rating is only 70. Please be careful when going there.Here are some other violations.

The food was tasty. The staff was friendly and kind. They are short staffed so food took a little while to come out. Food was fresh. The restaurant is the need of a deep cleaning The air vents in the dining room are filthy and covered in dust Grease and dirt. The restrooms are filthy. The booth table I was sitting at the side wall was covered in food and Filth. The food is amazing but the atmosphere isn't there this restaurant used to be very clean and organized. I am not sure how the food is at Koriander as the day we went in our order was taken, but never served. We went to dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was lively but not overly busy. We had a party of three adults and three children and waited for over an hour for our food as we watched multiple tables who arrived later than us be served. Finally one of the dishes came out. Hurray! Our food was almost done, or so we thought. And then we waited another 20 minutes and nothing came. At this point we had been there for 1.5, our kids were super tired and hungry and it was time to go. We inquired as to our food’s whereabouts while the one lonesome dish at our table was picked at and became cold.. Turns out they lost 5/6 of the dishes we ordered. They did offer to put them back in, if we could wait another 20 minutes, but at this point we needed to leave as our kids were super hungry and tired. The salt in the wound was that they charged us for the lone dish that did arrive at our table despite the fact that the adult in our party didn’t eat all of it (they were waiting for the other dishes to arrive before digging in, as is customary, and it had gotten cold while we waited for the rest of our food that we thought was going to be served. Horrible service. The girls there don't seem to know how to serve. We waited about 10 minutes for a table, and that was perfectly fine. We knew what we wanted when we sat down. They took our order then we had to ask for drinks. I ordered one entree and my husband ordered an appetizer and entree. About 20 mins later they brought his food. We waited another 10 minutes and a lady brought our check. I told her that I didn't even have my food and she just giggled and walked away. We thought she'd check on it so we waited another 5 minutes before asking another lady. She finally brought it and it was the wrong thing. I told her and she just walked away. A few minutes later we asked for our check and she said she'd bring my food boxed up. No apology or discount or anything. The place isn't that big for 4 waitresses to be able to handle and make those mistakes. Also, I asked about the gelato, ahe said their freezer for it has been down for a long time and they don't...
