ABSOLUTELY 5 STAR CLASS ACT. THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL, I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH DON AND HIS FATHER FOR about OVER 5 YEARS NOW give or take a year ,( the recession really my family thus AMERICAN JEWLERY AND LOAN), AND THEY ARE THE MOST CARING PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. I HAVE AN EXTREMELY HARD TIME THINKING OF THEIR BUSINESS AS A PAWN SHOP, I CONSIDER THEM NOTHING SHORT OF AN HONORABLE PLACE THAT YOU CAN FIND A REASONABLE LOAN ON REASONABLE ITEMS. ALL I CAN SAY IS THEY HAVE HELPED ME OUT MORE TIMES THEN I CAN COUNT. THE REASON FOR THE REVIEW , I JUST HUNG UP THE PHONE WITH DON, I EXPLAINED I HAD A DEATH IN THE FAMILY , HE WOULDN'T EVEN LET ME FINISH , HE SAID I WILL SEE YOU SOON, I SAID TOMORROW ,HE SAID NO RUSH,THEN COMPLIMENTED ME, AND TOLD ME I HAD ENOUGH TO WORRY ABOUT ,SO DO NOT WORRY ABOUT US, MY DAD ALREADY TOOK CARE OF IT. I have to say, I've never walked into what people call a "Pawn Shop" before. I asked them about a football I have signed from a Super Bowl as well as 2 Balls signed by Willie Mays. Ken, and Don are great people to deal with. They're honest, I stood and watched their dealings with other people for almost a half an hour. They really wanted to help people in some really tough situations. They were very honest with me about where to take my things as well as a couple pieces of jewelry I had. They will tell you and be honest with you. I've heard a lot about "Pawn Shops"places when I started to ask about the football. I can honestly say, Ken & Don's place I wouldn't consider to be a so called "Pawn Shop" They care, and if there is a way to help you, they will. They went above and beyond with helping me. This place is amazing! Donnie the owner is such a sweet person and he made my transaction as comfortable and smooth as possible. Also the staff members are so sweet as well obviously because it starts with the owner. I never dealt with pawn shops to sell and I sold scrap gold. He was absolutely fair with the prices given and just such a great guy! Honest and sweet this is my TO GO PLACE if I need to possibly rid anything.
