So I stopped by this Sephora hoping to get some products but found myself having a horrible experience. I am no stranger to make up so was browsing for a bit (around thirty minutes) before I decided I needed help finding a concealer that appeared to be out of stock. After trying to flag down an employee for 10 minutes, I make eye contact with a red-head who clearly intended to ignore me. I brush it off and think maybe she is busy so I decide to wait until an employee is available. After a while, I kept observing employees looking at me and not ask if I needed help. They would literally take one glance and walk away. Again, I considered this might be coincidence and continue browsing. At one point , I was standing in the Givenchy section next to some other customers when I see them being asked if they need help. Again, the employee ignored me and proceeded to ask others if they needed assistance. I was in the store for about an hour when I decided to just buy a cream bronzer I had been wanting and leave. As I'm in line, the red-headed employee was asking people at the front of the line if they were paying with Apple Pay so they could be assisted by her. I'm literally in the front of the line and see her look at me, walk past me, approach the people behind me and hesitate to say something. She then realized her mistake and turned to me and, without making eye contact, asked if I was paying with Apple Pay. I said no but her inability to even acknowledge me as a customer was so dehumanizing. I was then finally assisted by a male cashier who was friendly, made eye contact, and was helpful. My entire experience was honestly such a let down and this is not the first time this has happened at this store. I am never rude or even say anything negative because I know how stressful retail can be but yall seriously need to get it together. I don't know if it is because I am male but the employees here never even acknowledge my presence or ask if I need help. But they sure do ask if I need a basket as soon as they see me with one product in my hand ( we all know what that means btw). For a place that preaches about beauty, yall seriously engage in some serious disgusting treatment of...
Read moreI love Sephora but this location really shouldn't have stars. I work in the mall and stop in to shop from Mondays to Fridays. I never shop at a Sephora on the weekend because it is very overcrowded with long lines. Whenever I go in on the weekdays, the employees are talking to each other. I recently went in to find a moisturizer because I wanted a sample of ones I've seen online. As soon as I walked in, I saw the "greeter" talking/laughing with another employee so I went straight to skincare area since they are marked very well. Once I got to the skincare area there were employees helping customers but a majority of the employees were huddled in a group talking to each other. As a customer I shouldn't have to ask for help, I should be asked if I need help. I feel pretty awful when I interrupt YOUR conversation with your friends even though you should be on the lookout for thefts and helping potential customers that's never even walked in the store before. I have bought things before like when a new ABH palette comes out, I know immediately where it is so I can get in and get out which brings me to another point . . . .cashiers. Never once have I had an actual conversation while ringing up, the cashiers are always in a hurry and it's all a transaction for them. The cashiers don't even smile or have a nice tone because they're so focused on just getting to the next customer. It's as if they're in a competition to see who gets the most transactions in their shift and I hate that. At least at Ulta the cashiers will comment on what your buying, what they love about the brand your buying from, what you should try that relates to the purchase, SOMETHING! I've officially given up on employee interaction at...
Read moreNo follow up! We booked a 75 minute makeup consultation for a birthday gift. Added eyebrow treatments. Bought all the items recommended but then foundation was out of stock and they couldn’t figure out on their devices how to order it for us to be delivered to our home at. No additional charge. So we had to take a screen shot of the out of stock item to order on our own since they couldn’t figure it out on their hand held devices and pay for delivery at our own expense. Not a huge problem. We ended up going home without both our out of stock foundation and the under eye highlighter that was supposed to be included in our purchase. Guess they missed that one so I called and responded to email messages asking for the exact item that wa s left out of our purchase? We’re missing a major part of the look and can’t get a response! Calls & emails. So we have 500$ worth of makeup missing under eye concealer/ highlighter rendering all useless. Thanks for the help and non response! It’s been 7 days. Thanks for wasting our time. We plan on returning all items except for the lip product and color correction since I’ve already used it. Everything else is worthless if we don’t have all the items. I’ve made multiple calls to the store & attempts to find out what brand highlighter we needed to complete our purchase but clearly we’re not worth it to respond. We paid 75$ for a makeup consultation after years of not being able to wear makeup because of a skin allergy: just want y’all to know that this business doesn’t behave like they want to earn your repeat business. Roger, we’re really disappointed that you didn’t call us back or respond to emails. Guess it’s just automated...
