I've shopped at Uniqlo in London, great experience! Was excited about the Orange County shop opening up... Unfortunately it was an awful experience. Nobody wanted to help me find the right size of jeans. I asked a girl who was folding jeans to help me, she didn't want to. When I asked her to help me get my size of jeans, she said it was too high up to reach. I suggested she get a step ladder. She reluctantly got one. When she brought it out she told me to climb up it and get it myself, she was off soon and couldn't be bothered. Thankfully I didn't fall from the ladder, nor sue the store for injury. After having found my size, I took them to the fitting room where nobody wanted to help me either. They even cleared out my fitting room when I went out to get another size, even thought i told them i was getting another size (they didn't want to get it for me either). Im not making any of this up!!! I was so angry and disgusted. The manager couldn't even say she was sorry to me, she just smiled. No one knew what to do or say in this store, I just couldn't believe my eyes! Continue to buy uniqlo online, but do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM...
Read moreTerrible customer service with returns or exchanges. Beware and be advised the return policy is only at the store of purchase. We purchased a shirt in Glendale and returned at South Coast. The person who conducted the transaction is named Vivian and she was rude from the start. I did not say assist or help intentionally. She shared the original store policy with receipt. Fine. No store credit, only exchange. We exchanged the shirt. But she didn't mentioned we needed to go back in line, which was at least 8-10 deep. Fine. We go back in line. At the counter she hands the shirt back without a bag. When asked for a bag, she then mentions the bag is 10 cents. Note that I didn't hear the same cost communicated with the preceding purchases. I have never had such a terrible experience at Uniqlo except for this time with Vivian. It may have been the long day, her elder age, or the crowds, but please don’t be in a customer service job if that’s not your thing. I’ve worked retail during the holidays and sales but would never be rude for any reason. I try to shop in person rather than online but Vivian reminded me why online is...
Read moreFive stars and nothing less for my favorite and affordable clothing brand. This location has cool high tech self checkout where half the time when you approach the self checkout booth it already knows what you're buying, if not then just drop the items into the self checkout bin and it automatically detects all items and rings then up. I recommend UNIQLO for everyone, but I do have a few critically thoughts since I've been wearing their clothes for nearly a decade. Basically, the quality of their regular men's t-shirts have gone down, possibly because they're made elsewhere. The quality of their jeans have stayed the same however which is great. Lastly, I recently bought the cross body soft pouch bag which are available in many colors and they literally display it at the checkout line for on the fly marketing! I now carry my cross body soft satchel aka man poise...
