My girlfriend is amazing, always worrying about everyone else before herself. She’s also very independent and gets what she needs without worry. This makes it VERY difficult to do anything for her. She has alot of issues with Osteoarthritis. I thought giving her something that she would NEVER pay for, but would help with stress on body and mind. She LOVED it! I could tell by the tone of her voice. She will be a regular client and I’ll be sure this happens. Michelle made her feel both comfortable and relaxed. I’m grateful that they took care of my future wife. Thank you!

It’s located in what looks like an office building. The person at the front desk was friendly. Peaceful and relaxing environment. I’ve had massages, manicures, and pedicures here. All of which have been good experiences.

My husband bought me a gift certificate for Renaissance Day Spa for Christmas and I booked a facial, which was great. I then booked an 85-minute deep tissue massage for myself and my friend and I booked a 60-minute Swedish massage for my mom and my friend's mom. Our moms went first and we immediately followed them. I had Michelle as did my mom and my friend and her mom had Sandra. Both my mother and I were very disappointed with our massages. My massage was to be a deep tissue and it felt more like I was being petted than being massaged. I left with the same tight sore neck, shoulder, and back muscles that I can in with. Michelle didn't touch my fingers or toes, which have always been part of the massages I've had in the past. I always get deep tissue, so I know there are varying degrees of proficiency but this massage totally missed the mark. My mom's Swedish massage was just as unsatisfying, again Michelle didn't touch her finger or toes and she said it felt like someone was applying lotion to her but not a massage, which was the same experience I had with Michelle. My friend and her mom had Sandra for their massages and they both said she was amazing. She did fingers and toes and she did a deep tissue on my friend and a Swedish on her mom, both said it was one of the best they have had. They did discount the massage because deep tissue cost more, but for me, I just blew $114.00 to have someone rub lotion on me. I received no relief from my pain and soreness. I have already rescheduled another deep tissue massage at a different spa, hoping I do not have a repeat performance. If you do book a massage here I would not recommend Michelle for a deep tissue massage and my mom would not recommend her for a Swedish massage either. Very disappointed. I wanted to post this as 2 1/2, since 2 of us were very disappointed and 2 of us were happy, that's 50% and 50% of 5 is 2 1/2. but it would not let me, so it's a two...

I was at Renaissance Day Spa over the weekend. Upon entering, the receptionist was speaking at a normal speaking volume, at spas traditionally they are soft spoken, especially with the "relaxation room" immediately next door with no door to soften the noise. My massage therapist, Justin, was friendly.. however that's about the only good thing i can say. When entering the room, he saw my jeans and said for my massage type clients typically wear looser clothing - in the 60+ massages i've had, i've never worn anything beyond underwear when on the table. i then said maybe i booked the wrong type of massage, but my focus was on my back pain anyways so don't worry about getting my legs or limbs, can we just do my back. he said 85 mins is a long time for a back, and said i should do my arms and head too. fine. as most therapists do, he asked how pressure was and said if i need any adjustments to let him know. i asked he used more lotion as it felt like my skin was pulling because after the initial first application he wasn't reapplying any lotion and it seemed to be across the room and not on his person. he sighed sounding annoyed when i asked, so i felt uncomfortable to provide additional feedback. he used his arm on my back, and i could feel the hairs of his arm rubbing on my back. it was so gross and uncomfortable. he was also asking to use different tools including cupping to help remedy the area, except once again, no lotions or oils. so he was pulling the cup around my basically dry skin. mentioned it was hurting and he did stop. I probably gave him more chances than i should have but asked to end the session early and left. I didn't ask for a refund, but i do not recommend this massage therapist for anyone. I've had partners with no massage training make...

This place is a hidden gem. It is located in an office building, however once you ascend the first level stairs and hit the front door, it is quite the treat! I visited here due to the convenient hours and the massage therapist I have had for the past 2 1/2 years expanded his working hours here. The spa is very clean, a cozy relaxing waiting area, and very friendly and personable staff. Justin is an amazing professional and his expertise always leaves me pain free with my neck, upper back, and shoulder issues. He is also quite the expert in reflexology of the hands/feet as well. Crystal did my pedicure and was a very pleasant, relaxing experience in a quiet and soothing atmosphere. Everything it should be. The owner and staff are truly interested and committed to providing excellent customer service and a memorable experience. You will enjoy...
