World Market — Attraction in Crestview Hills

I’m so sad to post this review. I love World Market and spend so much money there. I usually shop at the one in Cincinnati though. I ordered a dining table for pickup the next day. Arranged for a truck so I could get it. Got a call from a WM team member stating that they were understaffed and couldn’t get the table from where it was being stored and asked if I could come the next day. Unfortunately I only had the truck for a few more hours. I told them that and they said that they would talk to their manager and see if they could possibly get it down. I said I was on my way and would see them soon. I arrived and the new story was that the table in the back was actually already sold to someone but they could sell me the floor model (which had several scratches). No offer to have a new one shipped to me for free or anything. No apologies for straight up lying on the phone. :( Ugh. I hate having such a bad experience at a store I love. Staff and store are great, but I am rating 3 stars to hopefully get the attention it needs - PLEASE take better care of marking your products with prices, especially the correct ones. Your prices are extremely high on things I can also get at Kroger's for much less (Toffifee for example), but when it's on sale and you have a barrel with the on sale product, then I want to trust that the product in there will be charged with the sale price. I paid for one Kinder chocolate $2.10 and for the other in the same barrel I paid $5.94, same expiry date and product. There also are way too many shelfs with no price noted at all. I would have loved to buy much more, but without knowing how much it's overpriced, I won't dare and find out after paying... because I did not see a screen with the amounts when it was scanned. Just received EXCELLENT customer service from Brenda at the World Marker at Westview Hills. She promptly greeted us with a smile and helped us find and purchase a coffee table and a bookshelf. She had to go to the back and move lots of boxes to get the boxed up items. She then proceeded to put them both on two wheelers to bring them out to the car and helped us load them into our SUV.
