No service Then slow service Then no service. 4 tables after us got their food. Our 9 year old said she would really like to eat here for Valentine’s Day, for breakfast and prior to today we have always had good experiences. School didn’t start until 10 so it works. The food here is amazing when warm and great quality product but you do pay a bit more. Basically, they were very unprepared for people to call in sick and I believe they forgot about our table and I think each waitress thought someone else had our order. There was never ownership. The first waitress was from a different section and was “helping” out” and that may be where our problem began I After 40 minutes we were walking to the register to leave and to pay for the coffee and our food was just now arriving so we went back to the table and i mentioned if it was warm we’d love to eat it. She put the kids meal down and it was cold.. not warm. Not lukewarm.. but cold I told her we didn’t want it and she took it away and said there would be no charge for our coffee. We walked to Trader Joe’s and my kiddo got a banana and muffin… she is so disappointed.. and this was a a part of her gift. Their food is good enough we will be back… maybe not to this location and definitely during off hours. We took our kid that is never late to school …. To school 5 minutes late and when the principle came out she explained it all… :(. She REALLy wanted that pancake They don’t handle situations well….

Met a friend this morning for breakfast at First Watch in Crestview Hills. One of my favorite seasonal items is their pumpkin pancakes, and they did not disappoint! I ordered the pumpkin pancake platter, which came with two eggs, two chicken sausage patties, and one pumpkin pancake. The portion size was just right, and the flavors together were excellent—definitely a highlight of their fall menu. That said, I do feel like First Watch has gotten quite expensive over the past few years. Even with a coupon that made one of our meals free, our total was still $28 before tip for two entrées and coffee. For breakfast, that feels pricey, especially when comparable chain restaurants offer similar options for less. Still, I enjoy coming here once or twice a year as a treat. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service is good, and the pumpkin pancake in particular makes the trip worthwhile. It’s definitely a standout seasonal item that I look forward to every

There's a mobile app to check in ahead of time. You want to do this especially on the weekend if you plan to go early in the morning otherwise the wait can be long. There's a communal table if you're alone which has always had seats available upon walking in if you don't want to wait for a private table or don't mind sitting with strangers. The food is on the healthier side; fruits, chia pudding, avocado, eggs, etc. No coke to drink just coffee, cranberry juice, orange juice, water and I believe apple juice and maybe a few other beverages. Everything is made fresh, and is delicious.

Came in fairly early - my wife and I were seated at one of the small two table booths when larger booths and tables were plentiful. Note: when we left they were still plentiful. The server even put our coffee pot up on the ledge next to us because table space was so tight. And the ledge is next to a main aisle where someone could have easily knocked it over on us coming through. Strike 1.

As usual the pancakes are thin and flat, like they are making the batter stretch longer. If that's two eggs then those are pretty small eggs. And cold as well. Over most of our recent visits I have never had anything come out hotter than lukewarm. Have fared better with other dishes, and it happens with multiple servers so I have to figure it's either a process issue with how the kitchen operates or that no one they hire has much of a sense of urgency. Strike 2.

When I went to pay, the same employee who sat us at the small booth decided to engage in an extended conversation with the person in front of me. I realize that some people are 'chatty' by nature, but part of being in that position is recognizing how to politely disengage if someone is waiting. No eye contact, no "With you in a second." Nada. As it was someone else noticed that I had been there a while and took care of it at the other register. Strike 3.

Think I'm about ready to give up on this place. They leave a pot of decent coffee and the server was friendly, but that's about it for upsides We'll be exploring some other dining options in the area...

Terrible management especially Mark who is very rude. I invited friends over and when it came to paying, the waitress came back in front of everyone and said that card was declined! I said there got be a mistake and called the credit card company and they said that there is no issue and they don't see any authorization at all! 3 more credit cards and all declined! then my friend used his and same thing. We called all credit cards and all the same answer no issues and no authorization coming through. Witness did not have any manner to handle this in a discrete way without making it obvious in front all? and manager said that we don't have any issues with our machine! I asked if anyone else had the same problem and manager was very illusional? then he asked him what do I want and that he will hang up the phone! same day they have a sign in the front indicating that they apologize for not accepting the gift card due to technical difficulties!!!! A ll I asked for was for them to handle it discretely and admit to a problem(things happen) and not embarrass me, but Mark was so sure that it is all our credit cards! we used all three of them right after we left just to check, no Problem at all, Mark it is your terrible service and lack of manner, not our...
