The night before last my husband and I arrived at the store 5 mins before the store was scheduled to close (10:55 pm). The cashier was standing outside abut 2 feet from the front entrance. My husband went to her and asked if they were closed because he needed to make a single item purchase. She responded with “We just closed.” He looked at his phone and said to her, “it’s 10:56 so you have 4 mins and I need this pill bc of my disorder. Can you please let me in so I can buy it?” She threw her cigarette down in front of her feet and went inside and locked the door. Knowing the store’s manager,, I went in front of the building with my iPhone camera on and recorded the story of the previously stated incident . After driving away I stopped baby a near by convenience store when the police parked behind my car where my 3 year old daughter and I were getting out of the car because my husband has already went inside and I was detained by the officer who was responding to a 911 call reporting a disturbance with yelling and flashlights shining into the doors and windows or the business. None of which had occurred . My little girl watched me get out into handcuffs over a lazy employee who instead of doing her job until the appropriate time was more concerned with her nicotine addiction. She took advantage of having access to close the store as well as disrespected and ultimately damage a customers reputation while also traumatizing my daughter. Her name was JESSICA i learned the following day when I called the store to see if the manager was available.

Knowing her personally, I called Sharleen, the manager. She was extremely polite and disturbed by the employees actions . She apologized and let me know she would take action. She also gave me the number to the store’s corporate office and asked me to call them the following morning. (Today)

When I called the corporate office the lady was aggressively stating that while the employee should have let my husband into the store , she Reprimanded me and made me very embarrassed to have even called when her employee is the one who me directed to. She claimed to have checked the surveillance and accused me of banging on the door while shining lights into the windows which again, didn’t occur.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated with courtesy and respect. I will be taking further action and calling someone higher is the company to report this rude and unnecessary behavior. Someone needs to get rid of the unprofessional nut jobs that are going to bring the business...
