Brooklyn Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Crestview

So they get 1 star because the owner has let his 18 or 20 something son take over the restaurant and their customer service and customer satisfaction has gone down to ZERO. My friend ordered a Philly cheese steak and when it was brought to her the meat was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. She said something and just asked for it to be warmed up and instead of making the customer happy he brought the Philly back out with a thermometer in it and said it's hot "I Don't have time to remake it here." She didn't eat it and sent it back again and said she didn't want it. On top of that the menu says one thing for prices and if you Don't pay attention when they bring you your check you won't notice that they actually charge you MORE than it says on the menu. Also word of advice just order a side salad if you want a salad because it's only $4.99 and it's the same size as a full size salad. They just use a different plate. On top of all that this kid is a flat out LIAR!!! The only good thing about that restaurant is the waitress was awesome. Dude straight up I know you're not the owner and you're a flat out LIAR. FIRST of all I have NEVER been rude to any of your waitresses. SECOND of all I have never sent back my food and my friend's husband has only done it once and last night was the first time she's ever done it, but I can't blame her the damn cheese wasn't even melted. Literally dude we have been loyal customers that have come in weekly for MONTHS and all you had to do was throw the sandwich in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it warm and melt the cheese and instead you lost loyal paying customers. Your FATHER the owner needs to fire you because if you were my son and you did my loyal customers like you did us that would prove to me you're not ready to be any type of manager at ALL. THIRD of all the price for the salad on the menu was $11.99 and BEFORE taxes on my bill you charged me $12.49 plus you added tax on that so you doubled taxed me then. First time trying this place on Sunday. I called it in for take out. When I arrived no one greeted me at the door. I stood at the reception area for a while. I stood there waiting so long that a CUSTOMER sitting at the bar asked if I was picking up and if so I had to go to the other side of the bar to check out. I thanked him and upon arriving I stood there as the waitress was on the computer. She saw me but didn't say anything. I waited awhile again and a guy came up from behind me and the waitress at the register put her hand out for the guy to take his card. Keep in mind I'm standing there up front at the register..... So ok cool, I got ignored again. After he paid she told me she will be with me in a minute. Ok cool. She then asked what my name was and she handed me my two pizzas and the meatball appetizer. The 3 meatball appetizers were $10 and disgusting plus they were all cut in half. The meatballs were plain and very greasy. Not even seasoned. The sauce was good but I guess the chef forgot to season the meat idk maybe that's how they make their meatballs. I ordered the veggie pizza with no cheese (which I have so many times at other pizza places) the pizza was so dry and the crust so thin it was floppy. I had to eat it with a fork. Plus the pizza wasn't even full of veggies, there's clearly space where the sauce is showing. Pics to show proof. Also the crust was so thin that it burnt at the edges and part of the pizza crust is missing. Then I ordered the all meat Pizza which was again dry and had no taste. I usually never leave bad reviews on small businesses, but tonight me and my family of 10 went to Brooklyn Bar and Grill and had one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Our server took 30 minutes to get us our drinks (and just as long to take our order) when there was about 3 other tables in the entire restaurant (no, she was not the only server and she was not bartending). Me and my husband had to continuously ask her for refills or else we wouldn’t have gotten any like the rest of the people at our table (whose drinks were left completely empty for an entire hour). Our lousy pizza took 2 hours to get and was extremely overpriced for the most mediocre, dry white pizza I’ve ever had. It was a struggle to even get our check with how much we were ignored by our waitress (who would continuously walk past us and see multiple empty drinks at the table, with plates stacked high and refuse to bus or refill anyone).When we finally did get our check (while waiting another 20 minutes while being finished with our food) she tried charging us $12 for a single soda.We got her to correct this, but making matters worse, we then requested a military discount and she told us she would have to charge us extra in order to give us this discount which makes absolutely no sense???
