Dolce Forno — Restaurant in Crestview

This is small place but extremely good food, wonderful, very nice people. Fresh, homemade dough that is to die for!! I will definitely be back!! We got the pepperoni pizza, 10/10. I love a classic pep and this one hit the spot perfectly!! We also got the penne pasta, simple ingredients yet fresh and delicious! Can’t wait to try the chicken manicotti next time 😋 Last but certainly not least we got the capri flat bread, which to be honest, I thought was gonna be a cold sandwich (A mistake on my part because I did not ask, and I assumed, we all know what that means, haha) when it came out I was a little sad just because I wanted something cold to go with my hot food, but all and all ended up being the best thing we got! Very disappointed by this one. Completely forgot my chicken on my Chicken Parmesan and after I get home I realize and call them but it’s pouring down rain. I asked them if I could come again and they remake the meal and they told me they couldn’t give me a refund and that in order to get the chicken I already paid for, I would have to buy another meal and they would give me double chicken. Not to mention the tomato sauce was very sour, and they other sauces lacked flavor. My bread was served burnt. I’m not a fan of other pizza restaurants in this area, so I was excited but somewhat reluctant to try this new spot. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations! We ordered the Wes and Margherita pizza, arancini, and tiramisu. I wish I took pictures before we devoured our food, but it was all amazing- You could taste the fresh and quality ingredients used to make these dishes! My only complaint is wait times were pretty long for a Tuesday night, so be sure to factor that in. Definitely will be back as this is hands down my new favorite pizza/Italian spot in Crestview!
