I decided to try Barry Hyatt Jeweler based on some reviews on the Nextdoor app and I am so glad I did. I have never been able to comfortably wear rings because my knuckles are so large. My mother recently passed away and I received her wedding ring set. David repaired the rings and did some modifications, including having an arthritis shank installed. The finished rings are not only gorgeous, but fit beautifully. In addition, I had some other rings that I had never worn and that werenât really âmy style.â We took stones from those rings and created a ring that I love, again using an arthritis shank. The creative process to design that ring was very enjoyable. David was able to take ideas from pictures I brought in, from the stones themselves and from just chatting with me to create something special. I never felt pressured to make a decision. He patiently worked with me until we had a design I knew I would love. Going into the store is like going to see a friend. In addition, the precautions taken to prevent COVID spread made me feel safe at each appointment....
Read moreI cannot say enough about how amazing David Hyatt and his family are at Barry Hyatt Jeweler. They carry unique one-of-a-kind pieces that you will not find in the big box stores. You definitely will not receive the same service. I know that when I walk in, David and his staff will treat me like family.
I recently went back in to pick out a gift for my mother's birthday and he helped me pick out the most beautiful kyanite and freshwater pearl bracelet for her. David went above and beyond by not only wrapping the gift for me but also shipping it to my mom for me out of state.
If you are looking for that personal experience and a jeweler that goes above and beyond for his customers, please go visit David and his sister, Jennifer. I promise you will not be disappointed. Here are a few pieces I have purchased recently.

We approached the business only for him to tell us that he was closed even though he was outside trying to do business with a couple. I told him we came because he was listed as open. "Well, I don't really like Google maps and the county is closed." We told him we'd come back next month only for him to tell us he'd work with us. This was the first place we went to go ring shopping. He put an unnecessarily sour taste in our mouths on what was supposed to be a fun and joyful day. I will never go back after such a nasty experience. Also, Google, you might want to take down a business listing whose owner has stated he doesn't really like...
