I'd give zero stars for this store if I could. This store has some of the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced. I purchased a paper shredder online. I had a reward certificate, a VISA gift card, and I was going to pay the small balance with a credit card. The site won't let you have multiple payment methods so I figured I'd just let them call me to get the credit card information for the remainder. The woman I talked to apparently didn't understand English well enough to do anything except get my credit card information because despite me explaining several times about the gift card, she charged the entire amount of the order to my credit card, even eliminating my reward certificate amount. So I go down to this physical store in Creve Coeur. After explaining what happened, the guy I talked to said there wasn't anything he could do in store about it but called their customer support number for me. I was on the phone no less than 20 minutes with some manager who said he would fix it (very slowly), but before he got anything actually done, we get disconnected. The store manager then comes over and asks if he can call them back for me. At this point I'm livid and leave. I call the customer service number when I get home and get some gal who says I need to call some other number because of the reward certificate. I call that number and it's a tech support line for the web site and they aren't open on the weekends. I call the customer service number again and demand to immediately talk to a supervisor. This supervisor is less helpful than the first one and says she can open a case and someone will call me Monday! Really?! I wasted more than an hour of my time at this point and she wants me to wait for a call back on Monday when I'll be at work and unable to spend who knows how long on the phone with someone who may or may not get my issue resolved. I saw on their site that you can return some items to a local store. I asked if I could do that with the shredder and I was told yes. Not wanting to visit the unhelpful Creve Coeur store again, I drive down to the OfficeMax location in the Chesterfield Valley. I walk in, explain the situation to the cashier, she calls over a manager. In less than 5 minutes she had the return processed, repurchase with the reward certificate and VISA gift card applied, and me walking out the door finally satisfied my issue was resolved. I visited this store in 2021. I needed photos printed from my phone as a gift for my sister. The representative was awesome. I could not have asked for better service.
Fast forward to 06/17/2023. I was there for the same reason. My phone doesn't allow me to email, I don't know why. There were four employees in the area, cash register near by. I advised what I wanted and she pointed to the email address and stated to send the pics. I explained my phone doesn't do that. She called another person over, explained the same to him and he asked about alternatives.
I asked the initial lady if there were any other options. In a very vile and response, she said no. As I walked away, I told her she was rude. She had no interest in assisting me. After my comment, she proved without a doubt, I was right. In a sarcastic tone she told me to have a nice day, I responded to her the same. As I was passing the cash register, I decided I would contact this store district office and complain. I asked for her name, she walked and refused. She did tell me "to get out HER store".
Well, I'm out and will never return I suggest if your looking for piss poor service, this is your kind of place.
Office Max should be disappointed but they won't do anything. They will chalk it up to scraping the bottom of the barrel for help.

There is no reason, nothing can be done. I needed TWO pictures from my phone for my great niece's first birthday party, just two. Well that didn't happen because of a lazy, unfriendly staff member who told me to GET OUT of HER STORE.
Again, if you wanted rude service from the employees while having to do it yourself, this is the place to go. However, if you want just one second of quality customer service, go...

He sat with me and calmly explained how zines work and taught me how to make a future one, by building a practice zine out of blank paper, then printed all my files and cut them out and told me to put them in the right order. After that he fixed everything perfectly, made me a beautiful PDF to share with my Facebook music group. Printed everything in fantastic quality. All in a very short time limit. I am just completely floored. I'm literally emotional and crying I thought I'd completely let everyone down, this man saved the whole concert thank you so, so much.
