Osteostrong Creve Coeur — Attraction in Creve Coeur

I started doing the Osteostrong workout at the end of October 2023. I found them when I enrolled in Medicare and got an AARP UHC Advantage plan. They were listed in the Renew program. Although their main focus is on bone density it was also said to help with muscle strengthening and balance which is what I need. At 72 I’m extremely fortunate to have healthy bones but my balance is another issue. Hip pain causes me to favor one side and it was painful to try and straighten up. I didn’t feel much difference in the first couple of months but then I began to notice that I was walking a little better, standing a little straighter. I’m finding I can walk and stand for longer periods without feeling like I’ll topple over if I don’t sit down. Even the slight improvement in my posture makes my lower back feel sooo much better. This system isn’t a miracle cure. I know I’ll probably need to get my hip replaced at some point (already had 1replaced). But if I can go into it in better shape then the recovery will be that...

I was fortunate enough to find Osteostrong after two years of physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic sessions, biofeedback, and numerous other treatment options to try to improve my range of motion, strength, and balance after an automobile accident and disc replacement surgery. This 10 minute a week impact program has dramatically improved my life! After 12 sessions, I have dramatically improved my overall physical strength. The best part is that my balance is back, I am pain free, and feel better overall than I have in almost 3 years. Physically, I am lifting and moving like I did prior to my injuries. This is a review I am SO excited to write about. In July of 2020, I started going to OsteoStrong in Creve Coeur because I have Osteoporosis. My objective was to build stronger bones. So, I am indeed a work in progress!! There are three wonderful women 'coaches' at OsteoStrong, Laura, Ciara & Holly. Every week when I go in, I have my own personal coach who works diligently with me seeing that my posture Is correct while using the machines. They are SO encouraging, friendly & helpful!! Little did I know, but much to my delight, going to OsteoStrong has been a real confidence builder! It has helped me become stronger, helped my posture, balance & sense of well-being! There is a lot to be said about doing something that is SO GOOD for yourself!! Plus, it brings GREAT results, too!
