Early today I went to this pawn shop, mainly to aquire information about a coin I discovered had value, it was a rare bicentennial coin but since it was not silver it had no value, but the lady was kind enough to give me the information I wanted, she suggested a coin dealer may could help me out. Thanks for that, then I noticed a silver tiger coin, asked what the date on the back was, it was 1986 the year of my birth. Later I brought in tiger coin of exact equal value (monetarily) and asked for an even trade. The only difference was the date on my coin. The man over the coins even said the two coins were of equal value. Rather than an even trade for the coins, losing no money on the trade. There was a silver tiger coin in the case before I got there and with an even trade there would still be a silver tiger coin of equal value in the same case when I left. It made perfect sense to me knowing the value of both my coin and the one I wanted to trade it for, yet he charged me an additional sum of money to make the trade. Being the date I wanted (the year of my birth) rather than the date on my current coin of equal value (monetarily), I paid the sum, as I was paying he did make a somewhat kind gesture throwing in a 1/10th ounce of silver. But my intention was not to profit off the coin, but he seemed in the mindset to profit anyway even after he said out loud that the coins were of equal value. Feeling a bit slides, I couldn't help but chuckle at the situation later, I paid for a lesson in how they did business. Thank you for that. Also keep in mind, future buyer, the current value of silver is about $31 an ounce, don't get ripped off buy ridiculous up charges for a piece of metal. I basically paid for silver that I already had. From a business perspective, $25 and ounce to buy, reselling at $50 would be considered fair. Not the ridiculous prices I saw on there tags. Lesson learned, I'm taking my business elsewhere and I would recommend you do the same if there's value in the items you want to...

I called to make sure that my out-of-state drivers license was fine to get that loan . However, I was just given so many excuses as to why I couldnât get alone for an appropriate amount then she starts saying that Iâm a new customer I couldnât get a decent amount for the loan then because of my drivers license is out of state Even though I called previously and they said it was an issue they made me waste 30+ minutes And then she gave me a lowball offer with the Incorrect carat Purity of the cold no customer should feel that way when getting a loan theyâre in the business to collect interest and they have my Gold jewelry as collateral. She also says that the client fell that she has wouldnât buy something that high-end and that Their clientele wouldnât buy something that expensive Iâve never heard of something like this before please just avoid the headache and go to another pawn store That doesnât make you feel uncomfortable wish I can give...
