Pieces & Peaches Boutique — Attraction in Cumming

This was my first time visiting this boutique, and the experience was very disappointing. The sales associate didn’t greet me and only asked what I needed help with. From the start, the interaction felt cold and unwelcoming, and it seemed like I was being watched as if I might steal something. She only became polite once I said I was purchasing items. She even individually wrapped the things I bought for my daughters, but the warmth felt forced and completely dissipated after the transaction was over.

I even asked the associate if she was the owner, because I didn’t want to bring up my concerns directly to the owner without being sure. I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt — maybe she was just having a bad day — until I went into the boutique next door and she followed shortly after, urgently talking to the owner. At that point, it no longer felt like coincidence.

I also noticed an African-American man enter the store and saw him being closely watched as well. It’s a shame, because the store itself had very cute items and I had planned to spend more money. Instead, I left feeling singled out and judged in a way that felt racially motivated.

I was hesitant to leave this review, but seeing her show up at the other boutique made me feel it was important to share. If the owner would like to reach out, I am more than happy to discuss this...

This boutique markets itself as high-end, but in reality, it’s just overpriced fast fashion. Most of the items can be found on Alibaba for a fraction of the price — yet they charge absurd amounts, hoping customers won’t know better. There’s no real connection between price and quality; it feels more like a scam than a shopping experience.

To make things worse, there’s an employee named Martha who acts like she owns the place, even though she’s just a regular sales assistant. Her attitude is arrogant and unprofessional every single time. We don’t even bother walking in anymore if we see she’s there.

Just left this adorable boutique! Pam helped me right away as I was shopping on a mission with little time. She listened to exactly what I needed and had me in a fitting room in about 5 minutes.
