Om Namo Narayana
Recently we did Srinivasa Kalyana Mahotsavam in Dawsonville,Ga With the divine grace & blessing of sriman Narayana.
The sole purpose of KalyAna utsavam is the protection and prosperity of the world. The word “ut” means grief & “savam” means to remove it – hence performing or participating in a celestial wedding of Lord Venkateswara removes all difficulties. The name “Kalyanam” itself bestows all sorts of goodness .
Thanks to Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Temple Atlanta for giving us a great experience.
Special Thanks to Main Priest - Thiru Ravi Swamy who gave us the path for leading the mahotsavam.
Thanks to Priest - Thiru Surya Narayana Garu, Thiru Sharma Garu for conducting this celestial wedding of Lord Narayana, Sreedevi & Bhudevi.
We started with Suprabatam, Ahshishkam, Alankaram, Kalyanam & Mangla Harathi.
Thir Ravi Garu alankaram to the deity gave mesmerizing divine experience for devotees.
Thiru Surya Narayana Garu way of performing the ritual - every specific he took time to explain why we do, what benefit we get and how we do. This is the main quality we need from every priest so that people who participate will actually understand our dharma and why we do especially when we are in karma Bhoomi.
Also we catered temple prasadam - Kara Pongal - mouth watering with the pepper, ghee and ginger. Bise belle bath and masala vada were served with unique taste.
Thanks to Lord Narayana for coming to our Dawsonville and will be there in our hearts for ever.
Come Back Om Narayana & his consorts - sreedevi and bhudevi.
Regards

Read moreThe Shri Satyanarayan Swamy Temple in Atlanta is an exceptional Hindu temple that offers a peaceful atmosphere. The temple is one of the largest Hindu temples in the United States. The temple is dedicated to Lord Satyanarayan Swamy, who is a manifestation of Lord Vishnu.
Upon entering the temple, you are immediately struck by the grand architecture, which is reminiscent of traditional Hindu temples in India. The temple is adorned with intricate carvings and beautiful sculptures that reflect the rich history and culture of Hinduism. The ambiance of the temple is peaceful and spiritual.
The temple offers a range of services and activities, including daily prayers, weekly pujas, and special events throughout the year. These events are an excellent opportunity to learn more about Hinduism and its rich traditions. The temple also has a beautiful courtyard and garden area where you can sit and reflect or meditate in a peaceful environment.
In addition to its spiritual offerings, the temple also has a strong focus on community service. The temple regularly organizes food drives, blood donation camps, and other charitable activities that benefit the local community.

Read moreNot to hurt any religious sentiments, I would like to make public awareness or alert on our visit to this place as we participated Sri satyanarayan pooja ceremony. It looks like the premises been owned/organized by one main priest who is conducting the Pooja service for $51, which includes just a coconut and a small floor table with an empty kalasam bowl. Then the so called priest started ordering all devotees to fill up the kalsam bowls with water and to get down to the flower store across the temple to fetch their own flowers & fruits. So the Pooja started without the deepam & intense stick (maybe he is fearful of fire, because the so called temple looked so delapated that the ceiling/walls are in pathetic condition?) coming to the Pooja ceremony we feel like as if we are at some Indian elementary school, the priest keep on quizzing us on Ramayan & Mahabharata for every half hour and looked very desperate to share his knowledge to us by shouting without any clue! At one point we feel like the percent of devotion is lacking as the guy is making fool of public sentiments? So on this topic there is one more temple called Mahalaksmi temple just couple of miles across this location where the priest been demanding hectic dollar amount when the devotees try to offer sarees/clothing to the dietees! Just an awareness to public on...
