Firehouse Subs Bethelview Corners — Restaurant in Georgia

I want to give 5 stars, because I used to love sandwiches here and people are very nice and place is clean. However, the last 4 sandwiches that my husband has picked up for me, have not been right. He is very specific with them about my gluten allergy (so no mayo in case spreader has been used on bread containing wheat). He says extra lettuce, pepper jack cheese, vinegar & spices, turkey, no mayo, and Do Not Heat, on GF bread. So, the resulting sandwich has had at least a few things NOT RIGHT every time lately, i.e.; little to no lettuce, heated; heated so lettuce wilted, no cheese or cheese melted off, mayo on it so I take benedryl to help mitigate my reaction in case spreader had touched wheat bread prior to using on mine; or no vinegar, no spices, etc. Couple times I just couldn't eat the sandwich! He shouldn't have to double check sandwich every time. He's very busy with work, as I am. Is the person taking the order not capturing details given by customer? Or are the sandwich preparers not bothering to pay attention to the order details? do they care? I want this place to do well! I may have to stop getting lunch from here if...

Decent sandwiches. I'm a huge fan of the franchise, but not this location. They are the slowest of ANY Firehouse. If you want a sandwich by 6, better order by 4:30. Seriously, no joke. It takes them over an hour just to make a sandwich. They hire cheap kids with no one responsible to hold them accountable. Now if you're standing there and staring them down, they'll just keep on texting and talking until they get around to working. Owner/Boss really needs to show up. Every so often (once a year), I get brave enough to try again, but it's been this way for years. So don't expect fast service here. Maybe someday they'll get more business for better service, but the 2025 test was a failure (again). Of course, my Uber Eats delivery was someone else's order entirely so I never got what I ordered even after they spent all that time making it. (See "Steven" on the bag I got. HORRIBLE!!! Came in around 8:45p.m on 8/9/23. As soon as I walked in the staff member told another staff member to lock the door at 8:50pm when they close at 9pm. The lady taking my order was very rude and I asked for extra pickles she told me they had ran out of pickles with an attitude. I didn't believe they were out instead I think she said that because she wanted to go home. The man making my sandwich was on the phone the whole time. 2 Gentlemen walked in shortly after me and the man told them they were closed with a stern voice. Definitely will not be coming...
