i have ordered many frames in the past and did not have any problem. Recently i ordered a frame and decided to have different color frame. They were not happy and so i switched back to my original one. Just two days back i ordered another frame and the sales lady Veronica said that I had 24 hours to change my mind or cancel the order. She repeated said 24 hours. Came home and saw the same artwork framed on Amazon for one third the price. So ne t morning I went and told Veronica I wanted to cancel the order. She was nice about it and said “no problem” and cancelled my order. I ofcourse reminded her that it was within 24 hours and she was ok with it. For refund which was $113 she said she said that the Manager would have to come. So she called the manager Tina who was ver rude and said that orders have only 5 hours to cancel or change their mind. she kept saying over and over that she is not supposed to give back money and that she is doing me a favor . She took my receipt and said she will keep it with her and did not give back to me. And she repeatedly said “ you have done this before too”(which i really did not because i had switched back to my original order that last time). It was disappointing to me that Veronica did not defend me by saying that she had told me 24 hours cancellation. All in all I was very disappointed the way the manager treated me. When i said people do have right to change their mind and Tina said “i have worked here so many years and I have not changed my mind” Totally irrelevant statement I thought. I have been going to that store for many years. I will not go there again. I have other artwork to be framed for which I was going there today but I will go to another store for it. A manager should not be treating customers this way. She owes me an apology which I doubt she will do looking at her personality. BTW I went back and asked for my receipt and they gave to me (which earlier she said she will not give back to me)
i looked up return policy which said that we can return the same date. i had not read because Veronica mentioned twice that i had 24 hours to cancel or change my mind...

As I started walking from a far distance to the custom framing desk there was a Caucasian woman there/the worker (Katie) who was doing Nothing. An Asian woman was doing her own thing with a picture that she was working on who had full access to behind the desk and back office etc...there was no one else there but me. I had to beg to get any answersand could not get any help. I did not say anything nor made any waves. Another Asian lady walks up with no appointment also and I explained to this lady that this framer said that she could not help me & that she was helping the lady that "was doing her own thing". I told her to try another Michael's or make an appointment. Katie the framer began helping this lady with no appointment. And then kept making smart remarks. I kept my cool but should have called the police. The manager there said that she would clear this up but I never received a response. When I mentioned this to friends...They said that the people in Cupertino are prejudice towards African Americans and stereotype them. I was dressed...
Read moreI have major health problems. I need a taller basket to walk into the store. The short Safeway basket works perfectly and is only a little larger than the Michael’s basket but is much taller. I have lived in Cupertino for 61 years. I am retired and I am trying to get into a routine of walking and moving around. Michael’s was one of the stores that I would leisurely walk-through to look at items And to sometimes purchase things. However, the management at Michael’s refused to let me use the Safeway basket in the store because they said I was impeding foot traffic. At the time there were three people in the entire store. I think the real problem Was that I didn’t look like the customer they wanted in the store. I have a backpack that has medical equipment that I need to constantly check things with. They think I’m a homeless person and I’m not wanted. It’s nice to know that if you spend a good amount of money, they want you but if you’re just looking around and not spending very much they’d rather you not be in the store. Especially if you look a little older and scruffier. 61 years in Cupertino and they make me feel like trash...
