Royal Foot Spa — Attraction in Cupertino

we went yesterday to get a couples massage. we were on limited time because we had a babysitter otherwise we probably would not have set foot in here.

first thing we walked in and noticed a stench in the place, we should have known to leave then.

there's just mesh curtains to divide clients, zero privacy.

I asked for a different towel to cover myself with because the one they left me was wet; they refolded the same towel and gave it back to me instead of providing a fresh one.

I cringed to put my face on their massage bed it smelled like old sweat.

my double my size masseuse was putting her entire arm weight on my spinal bones that hurt today was way too rough and massage my muscles not my bones... and my husband's masseuse barely touched him even when he specified neck pain; we should have asked to switch but they were not good at their jobs.

Should read the reviews before coming to this money hungry place. Was just in for a mediocre 1 hr foot massage. The lady who did my massage had a nasty attitude in the first place, I quietly asked her to sit my chair up and she rudely got snarky at me. Raised my chair up super fast with an attitude. The massage lasted the right amount of time and but the massage lady pretty much won’t let me go unless I gave at least a 30% tips. I had no problem with doing that in the first place, but she just had to say it in such a nasty way… I honestly just want to tell her, your massage WASN’T EVEN GOOD.. Whatevers, I gave them what they wanted and informed them to post that new “rule” somewhere before tricking customers into the back. Nevertheless, not going back...

There is probably some issue with this place as may be the people who work here are not getting paid well. I went for a massage and paid a 20 percent tip during check out and the woman insisted that I pay her a min 33 percent to 35 percent tip which I found was ridiculous. Either you increase the price of the service but you can’t arm twist your customer and demand a certain dollar tip . Hindsight , may be the woman was not getting paid well and hence insisted that she gets the tip that she demanded from me but this place won’t last long if this continues...
